While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
They still may add a new map (or maps) in a new patch down the road...maybe one that contains jets.
That's what I thought. Either that, or they planned to at some point, and that ribbon is a remnant from that early stage of development. They obviously cut quite a few things, including the underwater rifles shown in early renders.
