Criteria:
Vehicle Qualification: Satisfactory
Vehicle Combat Rating: Satisfactory

Requirements:
IAR: 15 minutes in an Airplane
IAR: 22 kills in an Airplane

Maybe they are playing to add a new map Wake Island style? It says specialist so I doubt it is for vanilla BF2.

Yea, there's a chopper specialist ribbon, and an armour specialist ribbon, but the air specialist ribbon is a complete fake.

Well, I've heard from friends/read around places that all the awards aside from grapple/zip (of course) and the army specific ones can be received in vanilla BF2 also.

They still may add a new map (or maps) in a new patch down the road...maybe one that contains jets.
