but I did..
and oh man.. what an idiot I am..
I stopped playing this pathetic excuse for a game called Battlefield 2
about a month ago when the kiddies took over and the game went to
sh*t. I was more than unhappy with EA and DICE's lack of effort in this
over hyped game title.. bugs that they cant seem to fix even after
BETA testing, DEMO testing, and 2 or 3 patches.. simple little things
too.
Anyhow.. I bought a couple other games I have really enjoyed playing
since then..Brothers in Arms.. Call of Duty 2.. Battlefront II.. all good
in their own ways.. all complete, finished, and for the most part totally
bug free.. online server players are less of the kiddie types too, which
helps MAJORLY. Admins are more active in keeping things clean and
fair.
Anyhow I said I wasnt gonna buy Special Forces, but while I was at
Comp USA today buying a new laser mouse.. I seen it on the display,
said to myself "what the hell, maybe they even got fixes for the original
BF2 in with it.."
Well, I just installed it on both my machines, (both pretty good gaming
pcs..) and I have been trying for the last 10 minutes on both machines
to get connected to 1 server.. YEP...just 1... any one, I dont care..
No go on either machine.. OPTIMIZING SHADERS...wait wait wait..
Server kicks me for 'modified content' then I get a 'wrong password'
for 4-5 times when I try to reload the game and start again.. what a
total joke that is, huh? Wrong password? hahahahahahaha.. but on
the 5th time it works.. omfg..
So, Im packaging this up and taking it back for a refund.. I dont have
time to troubleshoot EA/DICES bullcrap this time..
modified content ? lmfao.. damn right its modified.. modified with your
junk-azz code..
Battlefield 2... Is there any question this was the worst code written
in 2005? I challenge someone else to show me another 2005 title this badly written.
