I apologise if this will look like I am bashing EA...

They are Lazy and only care about the money, not their customers.

    Example.
C&C Generals. buy that game, 2 or 3 months later, Generals ZH
    Battlefield2... 2 or 3 months later Battlefield2 SF

It is simply dirty... I regret buying battlefield2... I should have DOWNLOADED battlefield2 ISO with a ******, and BUY SF... (different key) that way I save on buying a POINTLESS game.

So... EA will make 1 game, not put much effort in fixing up bugs, then take the coding, do some little modifications...
ok... this tank is a little faster, little more damage, change the skin
ok, lets do the same on some guns... and VOILA... LETS SELL IT...
Screw all those who already got battlefield2

Screw all those with Geforce4TI while its so much faster then the radeon 8500, 9250...
But you know what... LETS MAKE Battlefield2 on XBOX wich uses A GEFORCE3....

    I dislike EA/DICE
They are dirty and have no care about their customers.

Not buying it. Probably never will.

It has to do with the bugs, but mostly it has to do with the fact that the content is nonexistent.

      Night maps?
      Vehicles?
      Flashbangs?
      etc?

All of that can be added in a mod. If any of these effects can be shown to a player w/o BF2:SF, they can be created in a mod.

Yes, some have $30.00 to blow on anything, but I'm one that likes to spend my hard earned money (even if its $10) on something that I would actually enjoy. I'm not cheap, as I'd spend $50.00 on an expansion worth getting.

This one isn't one of those expansions

        Right on dude.

As long as the masses (like the guy above said he'll blow $30 on anything) would buy it, EA will keep doing it.

Once people stop buying, EA will act like the "good guy". As if the community said nothing up until that point. It'll be like "woah woah, you guys never said you don't like how we run things! you shoulda said something! sure we'll start making better products!".

Mark my words, that's what it will look like when the bigger, better games start getting released and EA loses sales.

Re: ATTN EA: Support us and we'll support you.

          I think Wargimp is dead-on.

Has anyone seen the "Dolphin Video"??? Anyone who thinks BF2 doesn't have issues are people who haven't seen that video. IT's just the begining of a long list of problems in a game that has so much potential. A game that we spent good money on and recieved a promise of fixes....with but one, (first 2 being flawed).

The fact that EA does not remotely listen too its customer base is sad.

Heres a brief Q&A for the upcoming Ghost Recon 3 game (a tactical/realistic FPS):

          * Will jumping be included?
No, there is no jumping, although very low obstacles are automatically surmounted.

          * Will there be simulated physics? If so which engine, and how will the flight of the bullet be handled?
Yes, there are actually 2 physical engines integrated in the game, Havok and Novodex. The bullet simulation will be as close to realism as possible (such as passing through thin surface or trees), but not at the expense of the gameplay feeling.

          * Will the PC version have cluttered HUD and coloured silhouettes found in the Xbox 360 version?
No we are not outlining silhouettes in the PC version, because the PC community was strongly opposed to it.

Notice the last line....the PC community was strongly against it. OMG, a game developer that listens too it's customer base. We should be so lucky with EA. Sad, very sad.

Furthermore: Cals league champions 20ID are buzy maken a BF2pro mod to try and boost support for season 2 with the fixes most people are "still" complaining about. Reason why: season 2 for battlefield is already on a decline. A decline so soon and only after 1 season....thats f'd up.

EA fixes BF2 (only if they do it soon), ends Dolphin diving , ect, ect and I buy SF.

Re: ATTN EA: Support us and we'll support you.

The only problem with all of this is the fact that they are allowing SF weapons to be used on regular BF2 maps.

They really should keep SF weapons in SF. That way, those people who choose not to purchase the expansion do not have to feel like they are at a disadvantage because they are on the receiving end of weapons and tools that they themselves cannot use unless they pick up a dead soldier's kit.

              Hey hey,

Here's an idea...I'd copy that letter and I'd go through the EA/DICE website. Find out who are the Executives and send them an email. How? They are NOT dumb enough to post their email address! Well I'd do something like...If MR. John Smith is the Vp. Marketing. Send an email to john@abc.com (get the extensions from their info@whatever address)...then send another email to john.smith@abc. and another at jsmith@abc. You'll narrow it down by the Mail delivery returns...

Just my 2 cents...and you didn't hear it from me.

At least I will be able to save my buddies who didnt yet buy battlefield2
install it with a fake key, let them buy sf that comes with a key and they win 69$

If you like it...buy it..if you're going to do something illegal.

I always said if you're going to break the law...do it right...rob fort knox or stay out of trouble. Otherwise, it's not worth the risk.
