Can you explain how to unlock the SF guns? If I have say G36c unlocked do I automaticly get SCAR Light or do I have to use an unlock on it?

You do not automatically get the SCAR-L...

You have to unlock it...

But after the first time I played SF, logged out and logged back in I received 3 new unlocks (that can be applied to any unlockable weapon, not just the SF stuff). If you have the G36C you will have the opporatunity to select the SCAR-L...

The Scar-H can not be stopped. Most of the standard weapons in SF are a lot better than the stock BF2 guns. except the LMG's still can hit the broadside of a barn without going prone.

The new LMG (the MG36) is sweet though, 100rd mag and takes ages to overheat...

The MP7 is my fav gun of em all. Except for the low clip count, that thing is wicked. Rapid fire and accurate as heck. I can snipe snipers with it.

I can only tell you my experience... My rank is Gunnery Sergeant an I have unlocked the M-95, G36C, L85A1 and PKM (neither of the Shotties unlocked)...

I installed SF and the patch. Played for a bit (SF maps) and shut down. Later started up and logged in again and boom 3 new unlocks. I could have unlocked to regular AT and engineer guns if I wnated to but i instead unlocked some of the SF guns to use in vanilla BF2...

The amount of kits you get to unlock depends on your global score just like in BF2. I have around 25k and got to unlock 4 weapons. I picked the G36E, SCAR, MG36, and Jackhammer since I had no engie unlock yet.

There's always the option to not play with the latest patch to prevent having SF weapons used against you.

I got my hands on this gun during Karkand, all i can say is wow. After taking out 6 guys i got naded but it was an amazing run.
