Don't cross the road? Still analogically way off. Stop trying to be smart and go backt to school.
Obviously clogging the forums with posts that say "Don't complain that SF sux... cause I told you so!" is a whole lot better then just "OMG, SF sux..."

You seriously can stop posting now, your jedi mind tricks won't work on us.

This is such an ironic thread. The response from those with SF is enough to scare anyone away from buying for fear alone of simply the people they would be limited to playing with.

I actually agree with Saureco. I AM against the expansion, and I don't care to tell you that. But hey, this thread had the intent of curbing the retarded, completely unorganized thought processes that made their way into a complaint thread that we see so often in the Battlefield 2 discussion, but instead, the people who have Special Forces are AGAINST such a concept? Very ironic indeed. If you're going to put words in people's mouths, just go play Special Forces instead of come here to troll. If you can't see Saureco had good intentions for this thread, you're just putting words in his mouth that didn't exist to begin with.

This thread is just another underhanded attempt to slam EA/Dice. What boggles me, is that the people who don't like BF2, or don't enjoy playing it (Or at the very least they enjoy trolling here) claim that everyone else hates the software, when the clear facts are that there are plenty of people here posting every day how much they love BF2, and love BF2:SF.

Why do you guys keep coming here if you don't like the game? Oh yeah you guys like to troll.

You paid money for an unfinished product that will most likely receive the same amount of attention and repair from EA/DICE as the vanilla version received--too little too late.
This is the first paragraph of the thread. The OP's general bias against EA/Dice or BF2 becomes apparent fairly quickly as he injects his own opinions into something he is attempting to state as fact. If you look at his other posts, you will also find a general dislike or distaste for EA/Dice and BF2, he claims he will have nothing to do with the game anymore (But I suspect he still plays if he continues to come here).

You guys don't like BF2, or BF2:SF, or EA/Dice, what the hell does that have to do with the users here at TotalBF2? What did we do wrong that we must be assailed by this continuous stream of rants about the game. If you don't like the game, fine, make a post about specifics instead of proclaiming that EA/Dice makes a messed up game. Making claims about unfinished product and lack of support (both of which are false) is ludicrous when there are tens of thousands playing this game every day and enjoying themselves.

And guess what, there is a chance that this just isn't the game for some of you. Go program your own game and maybe you won't be so disappointed. EA/Dice didn't make this personally just for you, they tried to build the game up and market it to thousands of players, not for you specifically. Again, if you don't like this game then go find another one. EA/Dice aren't the only game makers in town and there are plenty of FPS's out there. Coming here to bitch about the game is just you attempting to rain on others parade.

                Re: New forum disclaimer

I'm afraid you're still wrong. The OP is a disclaimer. It is based on fact. The statement "You paid money for an unfinished product" is probably not an easily contested statement around here. And before you default to any prepared EULA comeback, the statement is in and of itself true.

                People paid money. Check.
The product is unfinished in the eyes of any customer who has owned at least one online FPS game as noted by a slew of bugs, stability issues, inaccurate system specs, and a general lack of adequate testing. Check.

Yes, I am opinionated. No, I'm not a troll. The irony, for the nth time it's been used in this thread, is that it is YOU who keeps coming back to a disclaimer thread to bash the OP.

For the last time, the thread is a statement that if a player is not satisfied with the product having already known of confirmed and/or potential issues due to public acclaim that said player should not come here to complain about a problem having already known about it. If someone says, "hey, the bridge is out" and you drive off of it, guess who's to blame? But there will still be players that will disregard such warnings and caveats, come straight here, and begin a new thread per complaint per day.

But that's why we have you here to come right back and flame him into nonexistence, troll.

The notion that the EA-DICE team is less than productive as the competition is practically irrefutable. How can a duo of companies release a game having already announced its coming and not have most of these major bugs fixed? How come it has been almost 6 months and the most critical factors of gameplay (ie., faulty antiair turrets, dolphin hoppers, and a backwards teamkill system) still remain unfixed? It has been taken up by the mod community to do the fixing for EA and DICE. I'm just surprised that EA hasn't taken credit for the works of others yet.

Get it through your head, Dave. We've dealt with title after title of EA disappointments. We're not here to complain that BF2 doesn't cater to MY play style or that I'm complaining because everything keeps killing ME. People are p*ssed because the product they were told they would get is broken, plain and simple. Just because some of you can stomach an unfinished product doesn't mean the rest of us have to drop our standards in succession. If we want the product that the EA said we would get sans any EULA "product may change" defense, then we should get it.

Again, I find it rediculous that you have to pay for the product before you have to break the plastic seal and install it to even see the EULA. I'm quite sure that if most players were allowed to read most EULAs before they forked over the cash, most of these complaints and customer-negligent companies would disappear.

This is EA/Dice's game, they get to decide when it is finished, not us. We buy whats in the box. If we don't like it, we take it back and get our money back.

I am returning with "we need complaints to know what is wrong". Yes, the overabundance of complaints has made it both tiresome and disheartening for new and veteran players that want to believe they bought a good product.

I think the problem here is that you think you are the center of the universe. How many posts do people need to make stating that they are happy with the game? A lot of people enjoy BF2 (And the other BF series games). Just because you don't particularly like it doesn't mean its a bad game.

Yet you still bought the game anyways, how stupid does that make you feel?

Also, if you opened the game, and read the EULA and didn't agree with it then you should have taken the game back and received a refund.

The reason is simple. I want EA to fix the multitude of bugs on the game I have now. He certainly makes a more rational argument then "EA SUCKS BECAUSE THEY ATE MY BABY!!!!" that the EA/DICE haters use. I guess its natural evolution a few years back it was just as cool to hate Microsoft/Bill Gates in this same way (and still is if your stuck in the /. zone )

No-one that owns SF has told you lot you SHOULD buy it, in fact the opposite with your attitudes i am glad i dont have to put up with you in a server i'm in Yet somehow you haters all feel you have the right to tell us how we SHOULDN'T buy the game for your irrational reasons.

Like most other people i dont have any issues that stop me playing, sure there are a few bugs and lots of things i PERSONALLY would change but thats the same with any and every game out.

As for weapons you dont get, surley you get to stick it to EA/DICE exactly like you want to now?? you can loot corpses for the kits and feel better knowing you didnt pay for them?? if it makes you feel better you can post about how you "stuck it to the man" in the general forum but pleae leave the SF for us more dedicated players.

What is your guys malfunction? The game works fine for me, everything is dandy, I've had 0, count them, zero problems. You may think it is a crappy expansion (which I find incredibly funny considering you state later that you can't even get BF2 to play, so how the **** do you know it is crappy?), but alot of us playing it are having alot of fun.

So, you can't get a patch to install and thats EA/Dice's fault and has nothing to do with your computer eh? There are thousands upon thousands of different computer configurations, its logistically impossible for EA/Dice to test a patch on each one and still get a patch out in the next 5 years. If you can't get the patch to work and you can't find the solution here then you are SOL I guess. Maybe you should stick with console games, you know...put disk in console, game plays.

Stop assuming all us who buy the game and expansion are sheep, are clueless or too stupid to know if we are getting an "unfinished" or "multitude of bugs" game. Frankly at 45 bucks for BF2, and 30 bucks for BF2:SF, this is an absolute steal considering the time and fun I can get out of it. I love the game and get sick and tired of hearing all the whiners lump their hate on those of us without your problems. You people expect way too much from a computer game.

If you have bugs or problems with the game, post specifics (And post in the support forum here) and ask for help. Posting that EA/Dice sucks and you have a billion bugs that need fixed on these forums aren't going to get your bugs fixed, and posting this in the general threads will earn you no respect here. Post specific problems and maybe the community will try to help or EA/Dice will know what the hell to fix.
