Yah, the expansion is not worth your money IMO. I got it for free but meh...

I haven't played online yet so maybe I will change my mind.

The grappiling hook is actually really cool. that happens when you throw it on the ground.

It actually has some decent mechanics, I threw it off a building cuz I was bored and it ended up wrapping around a sign off of some building. Not too bad...I'm just dissapointed in the lack of weapons

Oh, screw that picture, the grappling hook is seriously awesome. I had a lot of fun just playing around with it in single player. :p Chuck it onto a roof, climb up, pick it up, move on to the next one.. and so forth.
Try it yourselves before you judge it. It rocks, even though it's certain to bug now and then.

Roger that! It's awsome. Been playing all day and it makes for getting to some sweet sniper spots.

The hook works and looks fine to me. Take into consideration that it is just a footnote in the game you use for 2 seconds at a time. If I were you, I wouldn't spend too much time counting the pixels in you hookline. I might sneak up behind you and stab you in the head. :)

The only thing that disturbs me is, the Zip line kinda makes you wonder what your end is anchored to. I.e. shoot across the street from a bow. Then slide down without a tie-off animation. BUt HEY! why slow down an intense ass kicking game of teamwork worrying about such trivial matters as realism wich BF2 isn't and never will be.
