The new unlocks r deffenently cool. I only have like 10,000 pts or so and i have 3 new unlocks now. The new spec forces gun is cool very good gun and the red dot is back. Sniper and anti tank do not have new unlocks. The mp7 is killer for engenere, no more shotguns. Medic is ok u get g36E on burst no full auto. Assault gets a nasty f2000 lots of recoil though.

hmm, i thought the new unlocks were for BF2, fromwhat i read, you had to unlock the first, in order to get to the second, i installed the patch, and at BFHQ, i see 2 unlocks there. the normal unlock and a second one which is locked. i thought that you can use that as a tier2 unlock, i havent gotten promoted yet so im not quite sure.

The new unlocks are for BF2, you do need to unlock the first weapon to get the second. Im not sure if you have to buy spec forces to unlock the second, as soon as i logged in to BF2 after installing spec forces it awarded me with 3 new unlocks, did u or r u gonna buy it????

Well from what i know from my sf manual, grappling hook is only for sf assault and anti-tank only. Zipline is for sf sniper and sf kits only. Flash bang only for sf assault. Tear gas for support only. NV goggles and Gas mask for every class.

Just casual FYI...
According to BFHQ flashbangs are the tier II assault unlock not the 2000.

I could be wrong with things bieng so early and all but that's what it shows.

It's just when I go to BFHQ look at assault and cycle the unlocks it's only G3 and Flash bang with no mention whatsoever of the 2000. If I'm missing something here fill me in because I would personally love to get the weapon over the flashbang.

I read some stuff and if I understand good, you can use Flash bangs en graple hooks in the normal BF2 ? on ranked servers ?

Hi allow me to resolve this for you - you unlock the 2000, and when you select it while playing Vanilla BF2 you get both it AND the flashbangs in your kit. Double bonus. This is coming from in game experience.

Yes there is new toys that you unlock in sf that you can use in regular bf2!

i get the same thing u get so dont worry, what u gota do is unlcok the G3 first, then the 2000 will magicly appear! =D, once you unlock the 2000 go for ur flashbang nades which will replace your smoke nades,

lol u dont just walk around with the flashbang and no weapon...

The engineer unlock is sweet. Definitely worth getting to get rid of shotgun.

no, you can't use the grapling hook in normal BF2 , only things like weapons and those freaking flash bangs.

BUT karkand + flash bangs = omfg
