flash bang, graple hook, ... in normal BF2 ??

I read some stuff and if I understand good, you can use Flash bangs en graple hooks in the normal BF2 ? on ranked servers ?

and does everybody get them or only the SF owners ?

also, are there new unlocks in SF ?

And, how about bugs guys, is it buggy or is it normal?

I don't know, I don't think theres any new unlocks, though of course I don't have the game yet but from the screens I've seen I don't think so, as far as the other quistions go, I would like to know too, anyone know?

I dont have it yet. But as far as I know grapling hooks and ziplines arent in the kit loadout menu so I doubt it. Flashbangs you can use but you must first unlock the F2000 for assault which come with it. No smoke nades anymore.

No NEW unlocks, just the new default weapons in SF that you can use in BF2.

As far as I knew it was weapon unlocks only that are transferrable from BF2 SF to Vanilla BF2, not equipment, but I could be wrong.

Once you get your unlocks in BF2 SF and then go and play BF2 vanilla, you'll have the choice of 2 unlocks in place of one.

Actually the weapons from SF arnt that great, except for the F2000. But I think the F2000 evens the playing field a little between US and MEC/China. Now US stands a chance at close range instead of having that crummy burst fire junk.

The engineer unlock is sweet. Definitely worth getting to get rid of shotgun.

what if someone without the sf expansion picks up a weapon from sf while playing? is that why the patch was so big, because they had to add all the new weapons..

the unlocks are sweet, you dont get the grapple or the zip line in regular bf2 with the kits though. to get the upgraded guns you must first have the unlock in that particular class. i.e. you have the g36, you can get the sf gun, pkm? get a cooler heavy assault gun, so on and so forth. there are unlocks for every class but i kinda screwed myself when i never got the g3. the expansion pack is badass, the maps are sweet and the weapons cool. the zip line and grappling hook definately add to the gameplay as far as you never know where someone is going to be. the zip line does worry me sometimes though. and it sucks that you cant shoot at people while zip lining, but who cares. get the expansion, its well worth it. and dont even get me started on the tear gas.

hmm, i thought the new unlocks were for BF2, fromwhat i read, you had to unlock the first, in order to get to the second, i installed the patch, and at BFHQ, i see 2 unlocks there. the normal unlock and a second one which is locked. i thought that you can use that as a tier2 unlock, i havent gotten promoted yet so im not quite sure.
