Thanks again guys...but the problem is, I don't know when a good time to stop the break is. Everytime I play it is because I have an urge to, but then when I start I usually end up just wait for the round to end killing just to keep my from turning to crap.

Start now. The holiday is as good a time as any to really immerse yourself in another game for a few days. Once we get back to our usual 5-day routine of work/school and then go home, we'll fall back into BF2 with some new perspective and maybe a new set of servers to pick from. Try the Yahoo Shopping site for some bargain basement PC games. Some of them ship within a couple days and can arrive before the weekend.

It's really weird but it seems like Friday I never felt more greatful to own BF2, but over the weekend and now my enthusiasm seems to have completely dissappeared. I don't know why but suddenly I'm just not "feeling" the game anymore. It's not because of bunnyhopping n00b tubers, spawn killers, or hovering gun barring helicopters...it just feels empty now. Even when I'm pwning I don't seem to care, I just think "*sigh* gotta keep this up for a few more minutes, then the round will end and I can leave this server". Maybe getting the expansion pack will cure this, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, if you have any advice, I'd appreciate it. For now I'm taking a break from the game, not sure for how long, atleast the vanilla version.

And don't reply saying "OMG u r teh whinnzor of teh wtf lozl!@". You were warned this was a vent.

I am taking a break myself. Kinda feel the way you do. I've been like this before, and a break from the game was my cure.

Cmon BF2 isnt the absolute best. Its good, but it aint perfect. Cod2 on Pc and the 360 (hhahhaa I got mine :P) is very fun. Or if you dont like FPS's try a RTS like Act of War or Road to rome.

2 other good games that I just picked up on and is a BLAST to play.
