I'm not able to play at all, on either game now. I used EA downloader to install the game, then it patched it to 1.1

Then, I downloaded the 1.12 patch and applied it. I can start and join a single player game, and start a local server and play. But, when I go to join an internet game, I'm unable to join any of the five or so servers. After the map loads, and my client data is verified, I click the "Join Game" button, and a window pops up, saying you have modified content, revert back to the latest official EA patch. I've tried both ranked, and unranked servers, same thing.

Any ideas?

I'm sure as more and more people patch the game(s), more servers will show up, but I've yet to be able to join an internet game.

I payed and download this SF with the EA loader and i cant play online!

Whats the deal here, it says:
The cd code you got with this battlefield 2 expansion pack is not legit.
Click on the button below to buy a real copy of battlefield 2 special forces.

I hope this will be fixed shortly!

If you are in holland how the hell did you get to use EA downloader and then install and play?

Thats probly part of the problem..... your key might not be registered untill you are supposed to be able to play... wich would be friday.

Yeah but, if your getting it from .com not .uk, or what ever, wouldn't you get it the same time as the states?

I dunno if any admin might want to make this more known: The fixed action for my problem was to register BF2: SF BEFORE I installed SF. Just thought I'd let you all know.
