ive got 3 quick questions

1.When you gas another player do they do any animations or sounds(cough animations) and can you hear them coughing?

2. Is it possible to kill with the zipline gun?

Welcome to the brand new series of KY's battlefield conffesions!

Well, i suppose the funniest thing ive ever seen in the Battlefield series of games was just after Road to Rome had been released, i was playing on Salerno and had just hunched down outside the allied base with my trusty Sniper rifle. As i combed the base for targets i saw two Infantry men standing on the runway camping for a fighter to spawn....

After making sure i had enough ammo for the both of them they actualy started to dance..... running around eachother in circles and randomly jumping around and crouching etc.... When i finaly took the shot i hit one of them square in the temple and he fell to the ground, The truly funny part though was that the other guy kept on dancing for a few seconds then realised that his team mate had just been sniped... He stopped completely and just stared at the corpse... just as he was about to run i hit him as well.

I remember not being able to breathe right for a good 5 minutes after that. :laugh:.... Wich leads me to the most "shock and Awe" moment ive had in Battlefield. I was playing Desert Combat as an Iraqi on Gazalaa.

I was using the Iraqi spec ops kit and was flying a hind attack helicopter over and around the Allied runway when the AC130 spawned and 12-15 coalition players ran into it and took off, heading right for me.... I unloaded all my rockets into the front of the plane and gained as much alttitude as i could, then i jumped out of the chopper and landed on top of the plane as it flew under me....

As the plane was so big and so slow i could fairly reasonably move around on it so i got my C4 out and carefully laid all of it along the roof of the plane and done a james bond jump off the back of the plane and opened my chute.... just as i regained control i detonated the C4 and got a dozen kills....

I landed on the ground and the sheer scale of what i had just done hit me... i single handedly flew a chopper, done a james bond and landed on moving planes roof... laid some explosives on the still moving plane and detonated it as i was falling to the ground, and just as i turned around an enemy APC shot me in the face. Name me one single other game where that can happen and ill eat my cpu.

Well the original way i got into this was one day my freind brought bf1942 over, and i had never played it, so i figured id install it.. and well so i did, but unfortunatly the game ran so incredibly laggy on my rig, that i could barely play it.. so sooner or later i upgraded a bit and could finaly play it reasonably well, so i got into it ALOT playing day and night and that was a great time :), as the expansions came out i purchased both of them, and loved every bit of it! then a few months later me and my freind went to a lan center, and started talking about how there should be a modern combat mod for this game. and a fellow gamer at that lan center overheard us and said guys they have one its called Desert Combat, and its installed on all of these computers!! We couldent beleive our ears, so we instantly started playing it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER...

So this went on until around the time bfv came out, in which time i found a great gaming comunity who i have been with for over a year, and i found that they had a server so we played and played that, and had a ball.

Sooner or later we got tired of the same old maps and installed POE(point of existence) mod and we loved it played that until bf2 was out. then we got a server for bf2 and have had one ever since, and now we are planning to get one for spec forces, and all i can say is. the bf series is by far the best gaming series out to date!

WEll thats how i got into the bf series.

ok, now what program do I have to have to run the video? it will only pick up sound on windows media player...

Media player should work fine, just make sure that you have the divx codec. If you're not seeing video then you don't have the codec. :)

I can give a direct link to anyone that can actually mirror it. I gave the URL to FilePlanet and I'm waiting for them to approve. They usually take their sweet time on fan videos though. :/
