Wake Island isnt a Dice/EA map, its a community map that Dice stole.

it was an official map in BF42, in fact it was in the demo

Maybe he meant that somebody remade wake for the BF2 engine and Dice offered to include as a "new" map in the patch.

Thats giving him the bennifit of the doubt though.

Okay, i see ive been misunderstood.

It is to my understanding that the REMAKE of wake is a community map, which Dice took and put in the 1.03 patch.

Since when does what i said imply that i thought they stole all the original bf42 maps? when? tell me when
