Typical ***** cracks modify the game EXE - and if you do that, you will be detected as having an invalid version of the game when trying to join servers, so that would work fine only as long as you don't do any multiplayer, which is obviously not the best way to go about it.

Can't you just wait 6 days? Seriously are you willing to risk HW bans?
No offence but I quesiton the intelligence of some people.

This remined me of the HL2 release and people using haxed keys just so they could play it a day early.

I, myself recommend Alcohol 120% which makes a virtural disc drive, and a virtual disc.

But, since you don't have a drive to make a image, I could send you one.

But I don't want to get in any trouble.. So... Sorry.

I would absolutely not try to use a ***** crack when playing online. I've been using the mini-DVD image on Daemon Tools with no problems ever since the game was released.

And this works great for legitimate owners of a game. The problem for you would be that you would have to be able to run your dvd/cd drive for it to make a profile. I have used it with a variety of games that I own and they are all sitting in a safe place. What is nice that there is no black listing of Game Jackal, like there is for Daemon and Alcohol. Anyway, once you have your new dvd rom in give it a go.

Ok guys,

I've researched into your disc image idea using Daemon Tools, and its working great. Now if EA hardware bans me (whatever that means) then I'll have a huge problem with EA. Because I have evidence that I own, and evidence that Alienware is shipping me a new DVDRom drive. So they better not have a problem with me playing a game I payed for.

Besides, I think it's extremely stupid to force someone to have a CD in, when the CDKey is the charm to playing multiplayer anyway. Like what Valve does for HL2.. Genius.

I read in a previous post, someone telling me to wait 6 days for my Drive to arrive before I play again. Are you kidding me? I didn't pay for BF2 so I can look at the pretty icon on my desktop and not be able to click it because it wants my CD in the drive. F that... I'd wait, if it was free.

It's not the intelligence of some people, it's the fact that playing BF2 gets them to a high, and when they stop, mild depression begins to set in.
