One day I saw a blackhawk about to crash in a tree in gulf of Oman. i pulled my pistol and shot it. I kept shooting until it crashed. It counted as a kill for me. I do not remeber though if it was registered as a pistol kill or just a road kill or whatever.
The blackhawk was not smoking or anything. It just crashed and it happened that I was firing at it when it crashed. And you know what! I knew that it was gonna count as a kill for me and that is why I fired at it! That was in the very early days before any patch. Not sure how this works now.

Another weird kill... I was playing sniper (which I rarely do!) I saw a blackhawk capturing a flag. Just for the sake of nothing I fired a sniper round at it! it exploded and counted as if I killed the two guys in it with "blackhawk". and BTW, the blackhawk was not smoking.

Moral of the story: some of the kills cannot be explained easily. Some of them are not repeatable. Some other kills do not make any sense.

Moral of the story EA/DICE create their own laws of physics and of everything else for that matter.. E no longer = MC squared :p
