I know some of you know of this but I was proud as I got the guy running. Next mission is to do this with teargas and flashbangs in special forces.

How is this possible, did he have no health left and the smoke granade hit him, or did he just "choke to death..LMAO.. Seriously how did you do it?

The impact of the grenade does damage-a small amount. If he's almost dead when it hits him...blam.

I was killed by a grenade smacking me in the face when I was low on health. It then blew up my corpse.

Makes sense, it would probably kill you if it hit you hard enough, it's probably heavier than a baseball.

I know in Desert Combat when a vehicle was on fire, if you threw a smoke grenade at it and it then exploded, the smoke grenade was the last projectile to hit it, so it gave you the kill, and it registered as by a smoke grenade. Anyone tried this in BF2? I'm sure the noobs will yell "OMG H4X!" but hey, it'd be worth it to make the game say you killed a tank with a smoke grenade. :p

If its on fire it will say that you just "killed" him. It won't say what you used.

ive seen this happen to someone else but i rarely use smoke grenades so i havent done it

Yeah,

The two times I tried to use a smoke grenade, I was capturing a flag and full of health....just popped it next to my feet, killing myself. lol. I assumed it worked like the smoke pellets you drop while in an ATV....NOPE. Took me twice to figure it out. Thought somebody snuffed me.

Yeah if they have less than 25% health. Lob one at a guy, dont miss because you only get one.

i killed people with grenades before they explodes

since thats caused by the bf2 physics then smoke grenade can do the same

but ive never tried

if u jump on someone else's head "properly", u can kill him too.
