I am gaining points towards Gunnery Sergeant fast, and I was wondering which gun to unlock-L85A1 or G36C. The L85A1 is an interesting gun, as it has an awesome scope and is a nice change from the M16 when you want to take out enemies from a distance, but it also seems underpowered at close range and has a high deviation per shot. The G36C seems also like a good gun, as it is awesome at sniping, close range combat, and has low recoil, but it seems like a very small improvement over the M4 carbine. I play both kits about equally, but I am leaning towards the medic gun, mainly because the G36C is a very small improvement over the stock M4. Any suggestions to which I should choose?

Re: L85A1 or G36C
I have both upgrades and they are both dope but I think the L85 is prolly the better upgrade cause it gives the medic kit something it didn't have before, a long range game. The G36C is definately sweet but not a drastic upgrade for spec ops. But I have to agree that whatever kit you use the most is the one to upgrade.Comment

Re: L85A1 or G36C
Either one you take you will want to slap yourself.
I got the medic upgrade because I DESPISE burst unless its long range.
Yet I love the spec upgrade due to its crazy lack of recoil...
Its up to you... but no matter what, you will always regret it lol...
My biggest regret is the sniper upgrade... I eint no sniperComment

The L85 is not more accurate than the M16: http://ubar.bf2s.com/kits.phpOriginally posted by rsgxHey I have another question. I have a good idea of how the L85A1 is better than the M16, but how much better is the G36C compared to the M4 (specifically, recoil)?
Scroll down to medic kit and compare the weapons. For recoil and deviation, smaller numbers equals better accuracy. If you get the L85, never use full auto unless point blank. I was on a rooftop, and somebody saw me, were about 15 feet away, put 30 rounds full auto into him, the last bullet, miraculously killed him. BUt i saw bullets around him at about a 5 foot radius. Just never use Full auto except at close range. G36C is quite the contrary, it does a bit less damage (25 vs. the L85's 32). BUt It has WAY less recoil (least recoil in all guns of game) and has the best minimum deviation of ful auto weapons. It also has the least recoil. The G36C is the most accurate weapon for full auto, it just can't kill people too far away as it has no scope (the red dot doesn't zoom in anymore than ironsights BTW, it's just a bit easier to use for some people). If it had a 4x scope like the L85 does, it would totally own. ANyways, both pretty good (G36C is not pretty good, it's awesome, but oh well) but i would have to reccomend G36C.Comment
