I dont tend to teamkill but anyone stealing my vehicle will face my wrath.. either vocally or in lead form.

Agreed it is so annoying when your in your tank taking a beating but have helped the team by distroying the enemy tank or apc you jump out to repair it and some idiot on your team jumps in and drives off in it.

I was a gunner in a tank and it took some damage the driver got to a safe place then typed i'm going to repair you won't take it, I told him nope instead I stayed in position and shot some enemys that where heading our way, he jumped back in and said thanks, after that he waited for me at spawn when getting the tank again or would if the gunners seat was empty pick me up on the battlefield.

The only time I will take the tank/apc etc is if the person repairing it gets killed while repairing, reason being I don't want it to fall into enemy hands.

A lonely vehicle in the middle of the battlefield is a treasured prize so it is you who must care for it...I know it is unfair but no one can know if u were driving the vehicle and stopped to help a team mate or you are finishing repairs.

sorry, but if you find a TANK in the middle of nowhere... IE NOT ON A TANK SPAWN and the tank mysteriously has full HP.. oh, and look, it's going up and you don't realize what is going on, you should sell you computer.

Tanks don't just materialize anywhere... especially ones with full HP. OBVIOULSY someone is using it, or repairing it. People know damn well that it is in use, but they take it anyways.


If I am the gunner in a tank, when the ENGY jumps out to repair, I often will jump in so that I can shoot if a jeep or other armor pulls up.. then once he's repaired, I give it back.... I usually don't do it if I"m just running by, but it can be a good tactic when the battle is frenzied...

I am with the crowd that thinks that *most* "theives" are not actually theives at all. You got out of the vehicle, they think it was vacated and take it.

When this happens to me, I jump in and say 'bail out!" a few times and 90% of the time, this works. I take extra precaution by not repairing near teammates (and enemies) and jumping in if anyone comes near.

But really, I don't think most people do it knowing they are stealing it.

Best thing is get an engerier to drive near you he'll repair your vehicle without getin' out.(Exlcueding Aircraft)

I've gotten into a vehicle before, just to realize someone was repairing it. I then either moved into the driver seat (or gunner if we're talking tank) or got out and went somewhere else.

Repair thieves are the lowest form of life imo, I'll carpet the place with AT mines and stand back and go capslock over the chat.
Only happened to me twice and both times they got out and went away, so I just wrench the mines away, jump back into the tank and continue on my way.

Same here - was going to rant :evil: about commander fixing things with supply crates and stealing my repair points.

You DO realize that only engineers can see if a vehicle doesn't have full HP, right? Most players in battle won't be engineers, so that logic is busted.

Some people are retarded like that. Even though they see you there wrenching it, or hear it wrenching when they get in, they still take it.

Usually I hop in with them right away and hit "bail out" a couple of times, and then put in team chat why I asked them to bail. Tell them they can ride along.

If that does not work, I give them a warning from the admin console for stealing teammates vehicles - if they persist, or repeat this with anyone - they are booted or banned from the server depending on the severity.
