In an ideal world maybe but not in BF:2 as it currently is.

Relistic game modes would be just fine, just like ET where you have front lines and objectives but CTF ? Naaa, if you want to play CTF then go play another game IMHO. My experience of playing Quake, Unreal, SOFII has always been that CTF was just inferior to other game modes and was the one where teamplay was least likely to be found.

Agreed, If you don't want it.. don't buy it. Why start a thread trying to promote your anti-EA crap. If you hate EA sooo much, then why do you spend countless hours playing their games? Indeed. Fine for Quake-like games but BF:2 is supposed to have a certain amount of realism included. I would have been less likely to buy the game had there been a CTF mode.

And an all out battle over randomly placed flag poles is any different? At least in CTF your team has a common goal other than killing each other for empty bragging rights of who got the most points.
