Unless I'm wrong what seems to be the porblem. Someone pops up who has the new weapons shoot :shoot: them and there you have a new kit to play with. An all that for free if you don't have the Expanion.

I barely have time to think, let alone work out if someone who is trying to kill me is using a new weapon or not, but I understand what you're saying. And if I do get hold of a new kit chances are I won't have it for very long :hmm:

Gotta love this new patch.... now I can't play BF2 because everyone is boycotting the 1.12 patch and SF all together. Wish some people would just grow up. Yes they should have released it all as one... maybe they will release a Gold edition.

I agree. Well, that and the not being able to have sex with each other. Consider it like a "Hot Coffee Mod", but for BF2.

:-) Interesting idea. I hope you have considered the fact that there are no hot female rebel insurgents in sexy, see-through net-underwear included in 1.12 or SF. But then again, we might have differences in taste

I played on a regular BF2 server with a SF unlock only to be TK'd twice before even leaving my base just so that a team mate can pick up my weapon....very lame:shakehead

If I am understanding this right then people with SF will be running about in BF2 with special guns that are only available if you purchase the expansion. Doesn't really sound fair to me...

Why isnt that fair....i spent the jack on the expansion....why should someone who hasn't have the weapons also????

I don't understand why people whine about the over power of planes and choppers. Isn't it just logical that a soldier can't do much against a gunship?

Here's why. It takes a minimum of TWO tank shells to shoot down a chopper. I've seen it take as many FOUR. These aren't choppers. They're flying super tanks. That is the problem. It isn't logical or realistic.

True, but n00bs want to be invunerable against everything & still have 1-shot-kill against everyone else.

Here's why. It takes a minimum of TWO tank shells to shoot down a chopper. I've seen it take as many FOUR. These aren't choppers. They're flying super tanks. That is the problem. It isn't logical or realistic.

Tanks are not normally used IRL to shoot down helos, so how can you say its unrealistic ?

It has nothing to do with what is normally done. Unless the pilot is retarded it's hard to hit a chopper with a tank shell. If you hit one, it should take it down. It's absurd to think something as fragile as a chopper can take a tank shell and keep flying.

agreed, one tank shell to the cockpit of an attack chopper should be enough to kill both pilots, regardless if the chopper itself is destroyed.
