Yeah... people are never satisfied. The game isn't perfect, but it's the closest thing to "the game I always wanted to play" that I've ever seen.

With those two publishers out of the picture, we're left with only MicroSoft (who will never give PC games their full due as long as they are making X-boxes) and EA (who controls an obsene amount of the industry).

Ok Big difference between Complaining and Whinning.

Complaining is what you do when you see potential in something and think if can be better. I.E. I complain about my Government.

I don't like your "Lodgic" of 'Love it or leave it' how will anything, not only in the game but in the world, get better if we just leave the obvious problems and go somewere else? Soon we will run out of spaces to run to.

I complain because I see a game with huge potential getting a bad name because of obviouse pitfalls that can be overcome.

Yes I paid $50 bucks, If I could its a 50-50 chance that I would take it back to Best Buy, but I can't. EA doesn't give stores credits when one of their products are returned so the stores don't take them back, cause this would cause a lose in profit.

Now that we have established this i'm out 50 bucks...I want my 50 bucks worth...I want EA to fix a product that was obviously flawed when they released it, any level of proper Beta testing would tell you this. If BF2 was a car it would have been recalled in the first 2 weeks.

I want my moneys worth...And if 'Complaining' is my only way to get it then I will complain.

I was talking about the major players. Believe it or not, all those guys you mentioned are tinny compaired to EA, Atari, VUG, and MicroSoft.
EA is the top dog by a looooong shot. I can't find any hard numbers right now, but I've heard figures as high as 80% + of the PC game market belonging JUST to EA!

I am getting very bored of people complaining about every aspect of Battlefield 2.
If you don't like it, hey! Feed it to your dog, throw it at your neighbor, chew on it, try to flush it down the toilet, try to skate on it. Really, I don't care, love it or leave it, because i'm tired of hearing you whine like a little child.

You're forgetting SOE. Mmmmm, this has got to be one of the worst. First they sell out with Star Wars Galaxies by realeasing all kinds of crappy Episode III content after a total game mechanism change. Then they LucasArts realized how bad they were screwing up and totally changed the game again. They've done alot of the same things to Everquest and the like.

What? You, misspelling logic and quoting it makes it seem as if I spelled logic somewhere in this post, please, if I did point it out to me, I'll correct it.
The difference is, I like how the game is, sure theres bugs, but no game is perfect, and I frankly, don't want to hear you complain about it. Thats not what I payed 50 bucks for.
Well I guess you didn't spend your 50 bucks wisely did you? If you can't return it, well say hello to your new drink coaster. EA nor DICE are listening to all of the complaints because in most cases, they aren't valid. We don't like hearing you **** and moan about the game as much as you don't like the "problems" you see in it.
As my football coach used to say to people complaining "Play the game and shut up, or get off the field". Theres your answer. Has complaining worked yet? No, then stop pestering us about it, email EA and leave us alone.

You forget that EA buys out the little guys, then works them until they no longer want to work in the industry.

Valve, on the other hand, will be the industry's Messiah. They have rock-solid revenues, fresh ideas, an open community, and true customer service. I think I just heard EA crap itself after reading that.

"BF2 is a piece of a trash, I'm never gonna play it again!"
And then in that thread do they complain about the problems they have with BF2.
