no fear, dude.. I took my copy of BF2 back the other day to my local
GameStop and demanded a refund... I spent the refund on a real "BF2"
BATTLEFRONT II. And guess what.. It loads quick, runs flawless,
tons of maps, characters, weapons, vehicles, and a BONUS....ITS FINISHED!

I still have buddies who play Battlefield 2, one of which has a Alienware PC
that crashes every 2-3 games of BF2.

EA DICE are a joke.

Does anybody see anything wrong in this post...When the other pilots downed then carry on and bomb. Until that happens try and take him out!

For me, (and I'm not the best pilot in the world) it really depends on the situation. If I have ground troops calling out a bunch of armor at a flag cap, I'll swing around and try to do as much damage to the armor as possible and let the ground troops clean up. The same goes for AAA and the enemy neutralling a cappable airfield and. I take CAS just a seriously as CAP.

All of you guys who are even talking about queing for aircraft are the ones who are ruining this game! Ever wondered why Kharkan is so popular? Correct theres no planes on it. Have you even thought that while you sit waiting for the plane to appear that there are people waiting to join the server who will in fact try and cap flags and be in a few words a team player.
What is it with you lot. Do you think that the stats are that important or what? Do you not realize that the aim of the game is for the team to win at the end of the round? If you want to fly that badly are there no games that are purely flying?
Last night I played a game where we couldn`t even get in a tank or vehicle because of the amount of planes and helicopters on the other side BUT our team won the games over 150 to 0 because the opposition where not taking any flags! It ended up a fight for the 2 flags nearest the American base (one was taken then the ground pounders took it back whilst the 2 or 3 foot soldiers whent to the next, took that and returned ad nausium)
Get a grip. Stop queing for planes and stop whining about base raping while the other side is fed up about waiting for contact with the opponents because they have all the flags and wait for a counter attack!

Last night I started a round of Operation Clean Sweep, and I got to the F15 first and started powering up. A sniper came up, stood by the left side and shot me with an M95 and took the jet. So, I went off and played the round.

Then, the next round started. So, I spawned as a Spec Ops and stood by the hanger. When this same person shot the pilot again, I shot him and killed him.

Then, when he respawned by the choppers, he dropped down and started looking for me scoped in, and I killed him again.

Then I put C4 on the jet and walked off. He spawned, got in, took off, wait, wait, boom.

I left it at that. I didn't take it on for the whole round, but I did get my payback.

Just stand exactly where the plane spawns and hold down the button, you don't need to hit it constantly.

Sort of in parallel with this thought, how about those who will either not wait (though they see you running towards the chopper) for passengers or those that who will not let you know when your riding with them (i.e. in a chopper) that they are bailing out. Now that can **** you off.

Thats why i am starting to play USMC more and more because then you can do a vertical take off and none of the n00bs can get in the way.

i had a guy put a heli on top of me on oman last night when i got to the jet b4 his mate, thats how bad its getting.
