Well I might be a slightly above average player when in a tank, with a K/D ratio of 2,82...I said I had to take that up to 3:1 but problem is I got bored

2.82 is not good, to be honest. i dont even think my 3.63 armor ratio is above average.

i remember one time i was like 104 kills with 3 deaths in teh demo with the jet..but now its just hard to aim

10.9 K/D retio in aviator, almost 11 if i find some time to play next few days

Ok getting back to the original post

Something to remember before flying
J-10 > Any fighter > Any bomber, not impossible to kill higher class but very difficult

Use mouse and keyboard isnt that hard, joystick if you want to buy your way to some faster learning curve.

Remember to set yaw/pitch factor to max, I use sensitivity at 6, but start lower if you getting started.

When using your mouse its important not to pull all the way back at once, slowly moving your mouse backward or in any direction, you will notice how fast you need to move your mouse to achieve maxium pull, which really isnt that much.

When you need to sustain a pull, pull your mouse back slowly, at just enough speed, when you run out of mouse pad lift your mouse and start from the top, dont worry the game mechanic keeps your plane pulling up for a brief period after you lift your mouse.

As for keyboard the straf keys are your yaw controls, use them all the time, espically when trying to line up your crosshair, with practice it will become second nature.

Now to shotting, use your GUN, the gun (or some calls canon) on the jet is the most useful weapon, bombs come in second and missiles third. I really cant tell you much about how to line up your crosshair on to enemy, you just need to practice until you manage to steady it as you would any other gun.

For bombing again you need practice, remember DO NOT level bomb unless you are desperate, its inaccurate and make you an easy target to get picked on. I, and most competent pilots just semi-dive bomb at from 30-70degress, there isnt really any laws, again with time and practice it will become second nature (practice on single player, bombing empty vehicles is possible compared to dog-fight)

When dog fighting, use your gun, general tips on following other planes could be found anywhere, such as follow his turn by aiming behind him and such. Anyway use your guns all the time, only fire when you know you wil score a hit, shoot the tail pipe, 1 hit there = 10 hit anywhere else (excepte cockpit), switch go A/G when sneaking up on enemy, blaw blaw same old stuff.

You would proberly find a lot of dog-fighting tips around the forum, follow them and you will do well, however to give you an extra edge remember you have camera angles for a reason, switch to rear or fly-by view could tell you the location of that jet you cant see and sneak up behind it before he knows you are there, again with practice you will get good at it.

Frankly the difference between flying good and just flying is the use of your canon. I have seen a lot of people that ONLY bombs, nothing else, and others that try to dog fight by firing all/half their mssiles the moment they get a lock, they will never match any gun user.

The most important thing, you should have noticed is practice, no matter how much I say or tips you read only practice wil make you a good pilot. Hope to see you amongest those with 10+ K/D ratios defending from jet whiners soon

Im about 10:1 in a plane, 5:1 in a tank, and 1.5:1 on foot.

5.17/1 in a tank.....Received my veteran Armor a few weeks back.

8800 or or Armor kills.

I love armor...but I've moved on to try and get some other badges, etc. Different aspects of the game too. I only have like 1.5 hours playing sniper but after I get my veteran Assault Combat this weekend..I'm gonna play sniper for like a week straight :)
