what i am going to do is predict what will be in SF. officer ranks. no new badges to get. new ribbons. and few new medals. and maybe some unlocks

It's probably just an add on, they aren't changing the gameplay entirely, just adding some stuff they forgot originally and calling it "Special Forces".
Just like with Road To Road and Secret Weapons, it will just be an add-on, maybe some new awards,ribbons, and medals, but to make you start over is alot to ask.

indeed it's an add on, I think you keep your stats from BF2 , you also need BF2 to install SF , there will be extra ribbons, badges and stuff, but I don't know about the unlocks

Yes, you will keep your rank and therefor you will probably get som unlocks when you first playe the game, like after 1.03 patch, I read that in an interview made by a swedish forum.
