6 mths and nothing?why cant they release and fix faults later like they usually do .

6 months is nothing, have you any idea how much time it takes to get used to a new engine? I thought not, tried modeling and skinning lately? doubt it. Just wait.. patience!

Jesus H Christ! These people make mods FOR YOU and they are free! They sacrifice their own personal time to improve everyone's game and this is what they have to deal with! The BF2 community is probably one of the most ungrateful of any game community out there but this really taking the ingratitude too far. They'll be ready when they are ready. As they are free you need to accept that or just get your bloody mouth shut. I would expect better from an Aussie.

Away from this flame - PRMM has already been released and after playing it I will not return to vanilla BF2 again. Many changes but I guess one of the biggest drawcards is the addition of the little bird helicopter. Download it at www.realitymod.com

tactical warfare also released its first version, tons of new weapons.

There is also ALOT of mod maps, once some become popular you'll start seeing more servers with them, though that might happen more after SF comes out.

Imagine if there never was modding, how much would that suck? still wanna complain.

Mods are FUN to work on, and fun to play. Since I am on DCON mod team, you can all guess what mod I will be playing most. On the other hand most of the mods I have seen are looking quite sharp, I have not seen this many mods in dev mode this quick for any game ever...

Also it takes time to get used to the engine and work on the code...something I don’t do since I am a 3d modeler not coder. We are rewriting the code for each item we make.
In time you will all have many great mods, and one last thing... "Graphics don’t make even half of the game play value, game play makes the game play"

Yeah they need to stop with the dumbass updates. It's simple, make a mod then promote it when it's finished. All the announcements on this site are things like look so and so mod has just skinned a new toilet, check it out!!! FFS, don't say anything until you have the finished product.
