well the missiles allways go for the strongest heatsource (thats why you should watch out for oiltowers).
But please!? i really need more tips about the helis? you go past way to fast...:hmm:

Helis are small, so missiles will always miss, use your canons

Tip when trying to shoot down choppers

1. Attack the sides, aproch it from either his left or right where you will have the largest surface area to hit with your canon.

2. Shoot the cockpit, if you get a few hits there the chopper will pop in one or two seconds.

3. When aproching on his 12, aim for cockpit

4. MOST IMPORTANT, your guns have bullet travel time and bullet fall, so you need to aim ahead / a little above the chopper to hit. Exactly how much I cant tell you, only with practice you will get it yourself.

All of the above require the condition that you can stablize your gun to shoot where you want, spraying never works.
