Re: Commander mode should have never been developed.
You desire such a tactical game by removing the Commanders abilities. But then you state that giving Spec Ops points for blowing them up promotes indviduals to ignore the "Teamwork" factor that was never there to begin with? That my friend is an Oxymoron, a self-contradicting statement. If you desire a more tactical game, you have to be willing to invest a squad to supress the enemy Commander and his Gear so that he can't rain "No Skill" death on your head.
Your point isn't so much about the skill it takes to be Commander but how your unwilling to destroy the Commanders Gear and stay there to keep them destroyed to have your "Magically Tactical" game. In real life, if you ever had such a situation as a stalemated gun fight, your Squad Leaders you seem to worship would be calling in everything under the sun : Mortars, Artillery, Naval Support, Air Strikes, Armor etc. The problem is for me as a person who likes to Command, is that Squads seem to demand my support, but neither request it on my TAC Map or say thank you when I give it to them. If you don't request anything nor follow my orders that I give out. (Reguardless of current "Context" since my Orders are general in how I want you to proceed.) I will operate as this "Super Soldier" as you state, not because that's how DICE made it, but because the Team refuses to Talk/Request/Update me on what's going on and yet I'm still "supposed" to render my abilities as a Commander to you, then take your guff when I do something wrong that you never asked for in the first place?
Excuse me man, but get off your high horse and help your Commander, SO HE CAN BE ONE!
