Yes, Thank you.. it covered what i needed to know.

I am doing it via lan right now, but i need to hold more people than what my limits are, and this is the only way..

Right now i have 127 demos, not to mention my movie is 110% action (If i screw up with recording a cam file.. thats going to cost me as i restart bf2 for a new one). I am getting a new card soon, hopefully there isnt TOO much of a change as i use higher quality video settings for the rest of the movie.

Thanks again, im off to find a server to use!

127 demos!? How long will this movie be? Obviously longer than your other movies
Though I suppose my movie will be 15-20 minutes long and I so far have 20 demos which is about 2 minutes of movie time.

Well, the problem with mine is its 110% action. Mostly all the scenes are coordinated in a way. So if someone is off cue, we will have to redo it. We usually end up redoing a part 9 times.. for a hard part (and its mostly hard- in some cases - stunt like scenes).
We originally had the ending 1 big demo, but it proved impossible to get it all right at the same time, so i had to cut it down to oh so small parts and do some film tricks to make it seem 1 big impossible demo..

My movie is going to be about 4 min long i believe (which is longer than my 1min and 34 second "Ambush at Mashtuur" video) .. and i think i have a bit over 1 min and 30 seconds of video..

Im aiming it being done december sometime.. hopefully. I had the deadline october 30th but obviously we are not even half there yet.. I just need a server to record in, like you said neo. I did every single scene that i can with 5 people, and now i gotta step it up and do the 6 man scenes and 12 man..

Recording big movies is a problem. When recording my movie we started doing scenes with 3-5 people but when I needed to do scenes with 8 or more people it got out of hand, we were only doing 5 second shots of part of a car chase sequence but it took forever and 7 demos until we got it right. That's why Im getting the action scenes out of the way so I dont have to worry about them later.

Heh, well im in for a treat!

You pretty much summed up why my video is going to take so long to do.
I need to do a car scene with 8 people, and then one with 12 people (not to mention that 12 person scene is going to be impossible as is). Thats why im going to demo that near impossible (literally) scene in very small demos and piece them togeather. And just to add to the fact that if i use fraps, it i wont get as stressed out as if i used battlelauncher with all its extra steps, even if it yeilds a better quality result
