You guys know something... I went to Gamestop today asking for the game and they said it will be there on the 16th. They said I should reserve it because it was going fast.I said ok whatever the lady was like for PS2 right? I said NO! for Xbox she asked I said no! for PC. ROFL! she didn't even know what PC was I said it was a computer, she called the store manager. That dude said NFSMW was not coming out for PC! I said WTF dude I have the phucking demo. He asked why I didn't have a PS2 or Xbox, I was like I do.
I told him to forget it, I want to reserve BF2 Special Forces ( I had $60 store credit) He said it was out! ROFL! I asked to see it... he gave me BF2 Modern Combat for xbox! I told him to forget it again and I left.So lets see if eb games has it

Is there a proper damage system on cars, coz i really don't like driving games without it. A damage system adds a nice challenge to games and realism. And i really don't like the theme foir this racing game.

Aviation go to a store that has the initials B and T. Very good store. I got the game today. Its very fun. Disregard what I said.

I feel as though I may get bored quick though, only played it for 2 hours. Its pure racing, no dmg, oponents kinda stupid, cops too. Free ride is boring. Only fun part is upgrading your car. And even that, not too many customizations, only 5 body kits per car, no accesorries like trunk/mirrors/hydrolic/tuning...

Its very arcade. No realism what so ever. In UG2 you could custom tune your car, can't do that here. Again, I only reccomend you get it from the B and T store because their discounts are pretty good.

I got mine yesterday thru gamestop. I have it for Xbox since they didnt have the PC version. The Xbox version has the BMW GTR. Lost that car due to sabotage. Although right now i have a bounty of over $300,000 with a stage 1 turbo Lexus IS300. I beat a supra, an eclipse, an RX8. Very fun game.

Its like the 20th car you unlock..
And it costs a bunch of money.

I played more today. Im done with it. Gona burn it and forget about it.
SO REPETITIVE.
This is all you have to do to progress in the game
-Race same tracks over and over
-Evade cops
Its so stupid. Even the way they made the car buy/sell system is stupid. You can't move parts from car to car, you can't sell your car for even half the price you bought it for, while to buy a new car its a ****load of money + money to put in all the upgrade parts in it.

The oponents are unbelievably GAY. 1) They accelerate like mad,and they they brake like mad 2) If you scratch paint with an oponent your speed drops to like 40% imediatly while their speed stays the same

I really really dont reccomend you buy this. I have the black edition as well.
IF maybe they added a better plot and more variety to it, other then Sprint, Circuit, Spint, I'd buy it.

Funny thing is, they created two more races, called Timestamp and Speedtrap, which is essiantialy the same as sprint because first to finish wins.
One is just sprint by yourself, the other is just sprint with another name.

So disapointed.
You can't even race someone anytime you want, once you've beaten a race, you can't do it anymore, and there are no oponents riding around for you to free race.

Agreed with AL3X on most of it.

Was looking forward to vehicle damage. My own. Not just the police. And I meant more than simple graphic changes (window paint etc). The game is very pretty (Graphics are outstanding), but I should have remembered my thoughts of Underground 2. It unfortuantely gets real repetative (Will most likely try it online tomorrow). Picked up Black edidtion (As target had it only 2 dollars more than Walmart advertised for the plain version). Havent seen the 2 cars they say are ready out of the box yet. Cant find my rap sheet (Despite the instuctions in the manual (I could simply be blind).
Cant race the other cars on the streets as in U2. But can run into police for an impromptu pursuit. But slam a roadblock at max speed... and it scratches your paint... maybe cracks your windshield, that is about the most damage I have seen.

I do like the speedbreaker (slo-mo) thing. but I imagine that will start to feel old after a while.

And cant be the cops? I was hoping for it.... but alas. No. (I hear you can on the psp, but I dont own one)

I've bought better games.... and I most definately have bought worse.

NFS to me is like a more let me phuck around a city with a car kind of game.I dont regret paying $50 for it but if your a car nut then you might not like it.
