3 Times? What ****water beer do you drink?? The dobblebock in my fridge is 7.3%. US wine cannot contain moer than 14% and usually is closer to 11-12.

That really depends on the beer my frined... for example

Long Trail's Double Bag is 7.2%

While Sam Adams makes a non-carbonated beer that rocks in at over 25%

Now Im sure doing Irish Car Bombs is a bit more then wine as well...

For those that dont know an Irish Carbomb is a half-pint of guiness with a side Shot of Baileys and Jameson... Slide the shotglass down the pint slam and repeat as necessary

BTW how does any of this tie in with BF2?

Sorry, I guess should have said MOST beer, which is true considering avreage US beer is about 4-5%. We were talking in generalizations (I have had 50 proof beer and made a 6 proof beer (a mistake)) so I figured the average amount of alcohol per beer would be implied.

keep in mind 1 12 oz beer is equal to 5 oz of wine and 1.5 oz of booze

By beer, wine, and booze.. I am talking about your common types.... as in 1.5 oz of Barcardi 151 is not equal to 12 oz of Budweiser

Really? Can you link me onto this? I have never seen SA version of this.

But, see my explanation above (I have also seen wine at 50 proof).

Well now, that isn't even really beer now is it? But, I think it would be a close call. Guiness, which makes up the bulk of that by far, is only 8 proof. . . .so the 50 proof mixture of Bailey's and Jameson might not quite get it up to 24-28 proof. The good thing about car bombs is you drink a lot quickly, unlike with wine.

BTW how does any of this tie in with BF2?

Irish car bomb is more a beer mixed drink/shooter thingy...its like all the above basically...

Oh and Im sorry The Samy A is 24% Alc by Vol. It is Called Sam Adams Utopia...it is a limited edition...Im not even sure if they are still brewing it, it costs about 100 bucks a bottle and is very tasty for sipping after a nice meal...

Once beer gets over about 15% it is usually classified as a barley wine, and no longer a beer.

I have 2 bottles of the Sam Adams Utopia at home - unopened. I also have a couple bottles of the Sam Adams triple bock which clock in at 18% when they are brewed. The last triple that I opened was a couple years old and had gotten to 24%. The triple is corked and was stored like wine on the side - in the wine cellar.

The best sam adams i have ever had was a limited release last year at the Aspen Food & Wine festival - chocolate bock I think the name was. By the time I got back from the festival the brewery had sold out everything they had and said they were going to brew again later in the year - I am still on the waiting list.
