My fav part is where you got the kill assist when that mig nosed into you above the carrier. :) Nicely done PW... you are a cannon ace. And you know exactly what your doing with your missles...my only complaint: you make it look to damn easy! :p Hope to have the opportunity to go up agaist you sometime, I can't think of anything that would be more fun and challenging.

And fyi for the one that asked... you can go into single bomb mode by dropping both bombs... when you reload, only pick up 1 bomb... drop it... then fully rearm again... now you will drop a single bomb instead of both. You can reverse this process. This works somewhat for the bomber too, if you dont pick up all 5 bombs... say u only nab 3 or 4, and release them, then rearm, you will only drop one bomb with your first "click", then the rest will fall on the next "click". I call it a bug, some argue that opinion. *shrug*

Yup, when i'm in a fighter, I always do the trick Ringmaster posted. Instead of dropping 2 bombs with 1 hitting near/directly the target, other being a waste, I can accurately drop both bombs without having to do another sortie to finish the main battle tank.

After watching the video, I have to say that that is almost exactly how I fly when going against ground targets in BF2, it seems I have no room for improvement against ground targets...now i'm depressed.

I am jealous of the low ping you enjoyed though, I have to suffer 180 or more pings just so I can fly

I would like it if you posted a video of you dogfighting, that is something I believe I have room for improvement on.

it's a great video and i enjoyed it immensely. though i'm sure the guys who kept trying to take off from the MEC airstrip didn't enjoy the round as much...

up until now, i've rarely used missles at all for my targets (mostly use cannon and bombs) because of possible team vehicle damage. but it looks like they all hit their targets when you're firing them. i'll have to give them another go.

why not post a bf2 recorder file?

The file size would be small and we could slow down the action and see it from different views etc with better graphics.

Thanks, I'm glad you all enjoyed the video.

And yes, Ringmaster is correct, that is exactly how you get in to single bombing mode (You can see me do it first thing at the start of the map).

I'll have PlaneWhore - Part Deux up soon enough, and i'll try and include a massive amount of aerial combat versus other fighter jets, be they willing or not (I'll make sure to let the pilots get off the ground this time), I might even put on Highway to the Danger Zone for cheesiness factor. Well, probably not.. but you never know. :)

I would love to get my hands on a BF2 Recorder file and I have tried but in the hundreds of games I've played I've only have two available for download, and what's more the downloads on them failed, so I finally resorted to fraps.
