Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
ati is better at making graphics, not gaming. trust me, i used ati and nvidia... i now got a 7800 gtx and it rox, ati has a lot of problems on the drivers
yeah go nvidia cause it runs alot cooler also and it is quieter. if u wanna know a good mobo go with an asus sli one the deluxe is great. sli will leave u rdy for an upgrade later
Yeah, like previously stated, anything above a 6800 GT is overkill.
From experience, nVidia has always come out on top. I mean, it takes months and months for ATi to relase a card to compete with the GTX, they say it would boast a 90% improvement over the GTX.. funny stuff.. it is either miserably close in some games, or the GTX beats it hands down in others.
Go with a 7800 GT, which can be easily OC'd to GTX speeds. Only get the GTX if you plan on playing resolutions above 1200 x 1600
Nvidia sucks, ATI rocks, nvidia image quality is poor and has shimmering texture issues even after the driver update that was supposed to fix it. ATI image quality is superb and their drivers work great and have never caused problems
maybe you failed to completely read my posting. who cares if it looks great if you can't play. the problem with ati has always been the drivers. most of the games that i play, including bf2, have the nvidia logo all over it, not the ati logo. tells you something...
If u have a CPU which is lower than Athlon64 3400+ then Ur both X1800/7800GTx will run like a 6800GT, Ill buy 7800GTX if i have A64 4000+ otherwise I stick on 6800GT is enough for BF2.
With my new rig i'm getting an Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.8ghz, bit too fast i know but i'm going to also be making 3d models so i need it to be fast for rendering.
1) The 7800GTX is faster than the 1800XT
2) The 7800"Ultra" (it's not officially an ultra, but is clocked at Ultra speeds; 550 on the core, 1800 on the memory, 512 MB GDDR3) is even faster.
3) The 7800GTX is like $150 cheaper than the 1800XT, just because the 7800GTX has been out for a long time already.
4) Thus; get the 7800GTX (standard or "ultra", both own every single ATi card).
(5) the 1800XT is about on par with the 7800GT)
Mind you.. this one FPS boost (or 90 percent performance boost as ATi claimed) took 3-4 more months to develop, and is considerably more expensive than the 1 FPS slower GTX.
