Sorry to say but my guess is he only did it coz he was going for one of the engineer badges and needed the repair points :)

Would be nice, but what are the chances of a new patch coming out this century that'll reward you. You must just resign yourself to knowing in your heart that you did it for the good of the team!!!!! Aah!!Nice!!

Personally I hope you are wrong. I play Engineer most of the time. And the reason? People appreciate it. I like getting that "thank you" when i repair some guys vehcile. I like fixing up the UAV and scanner. Makes me feel like i'm contributing. And since my combat skills are less than steller Engineer is the way to do it.

I like to fix my own tank sometimes. and Fix other peoples vehicles around me. Tis good times

Thanks Champ - the in game warm fuzzy - lol. Seriously though - when you work your butt off helping others that are usually unappreciative - good to see there are people out there that acknowledge your work.

It is sad that now adays I can get top medic with 1pt, revive with 1, and support with 1pt - on a map that I played mainly engineer and got top in that as well. I am always amazed at what awards I get at the end on the maps that I switch kits around on for my squad.

I always give a "thanks Champ" when someone helps me, repair or medic for revivie, the more thanks these little helpers get, the more they help.

I have had allot of times recently when I have been calling for a medic and medics just running off (even though they are beside me) and calling for repairs and engineers ignoring, it's most annoying and makes me want to TK them for not helping the team.

sometimes when i'm a medic i wont zap dead guys cause there still in firing range, and I'll die too.

Also engineers wont want to fix your tank if your in the middle of a firefight.

after the fight pull to a safe area to do it.
don't take it out on them man. And TKing them for not helping you is a pretty lame idea

I'm not a great player but I still try to spawn as what ever kit I think is needed most at the time. Whether I'm SF and someone is screaming for repair... I spawn back as ENG, usually cause I die alot. Or if someone screams for ammo... u know just what ever is needed.
