HOW TO TAKE OUT AN ENEMY'S JET IN THE MOST EFFECTIVE AND HILARIOUS WAY:

It's called C4. Get to his base, plant it, wait for him to lift off (or at least 10 seconds thereafter). Nothing funnier than "OMG, hacker! How did you kill me with C4 if I'm in a jet?!?!?!"

get in some AA and shoot the plane/heli down all it requires is some skill and good timing...

My suggestions to the community to have a better BF2 experience:

1. Turn on PB. At least you'll catch all the guys with registered hacks. Anything else, you'll simply have to...

2. Turn on kick voting. If the kill messages say:

TKer <teamkills> teammate

or anything like that for a couple times in a row, you know something's amiss. Kick first, answer whining later.

3. Pay attention to the boards for the servers to visit and the servers to avoid. Kiddie clan-owned servers, hacked servers, and servers known to harbor whiners and TKers should be avoided like a spotted toilet seat.

4. Hook up with a clan or at least some of your best buddies. If you can use the voice chat, all the better. Talk, play, and have fun.

5. If you don't like a certain vehicle owning you, go try it out for yourself. I've seen players do the following:
a. Player gets into tank.
b. Tank gets blown up by a helo.
c. "Helos are overpowered!"
d. Player gets into a helo.
e. Helo gets blown out of the air by an APC.
f. "APCs are overpowered!"
g. Player gets into an APC.
h. APC gets taken out by a jet.
i. "Jets are overpowered!"
j. Player gets into a jet.
k. Jets gets blown up by another jet.
l. "Jets are... but jets... aww, crap"

Yeah. Get in some more practice...

6. If you join a server where a player or players are team killing, kicking/banning for incompetent or unsportsmanlike reasons, hacking, or being total jerkholes, just leave. Don't flame, don't whine, don't resort to their asenine tactics. Just leave and make room for another jerk to occupy the space, thus freeing up a space on a more mature server.

It's a game, little girl. We play it to have fun and it's more fun when it's fair. The problems can be solved, unlike some problems in real life, thus making life an entirely different scenario. WTF are you talking about...that was not my argument that was a side note from a post way back...I had just replied too....

Which was simply restating the well known fact that life is not fair...I was not trying to break it down to a ****in science...just stating the simple fact that things are not always fair...

My argument was that the people complaining about the Jets being overpowerd are armor whores and have spent very little time in a jet....I got this from looking at their stats...Thus I was saying that they really where full of it since they where bitching about people in jets having crazy scores, whilst in a tank they got just as crazy scores...

god ****in idiots around here.... I love people that have to interject little tid bits of useless false crap to make themselves feel better, especially when they have no clue to what they are talking about...

The "where is this balance in life" and "you're supposed to be afriad of airpower" has been said about 100 times here, and been proven worthless again and again. Only an attention desperate hypocrite would post saying "Adios" and then come back on that very same day.

Yes, this is a part of life, and life AS A WHOLE isn't fair, but when everything is controlled by a programmer's code it can be made fair in some aspects. And just because some unfair things happen in life doesn't mean we should stop trying to make it as fair as it CAN be. Except from your tragically distorted and helplessly unlogical point of view.

Yeah, however a tank can still OWN everything....with a good driver... (who would typically blow up the TOW before approaching)

Note I said with a good driver, just like a plane with a good pilot.
