CS:S doesn't get boring after 30 mins. It's the best game in the world to me. I've been playing since HL2 was released, still not bored.

I sure wonder why it's the most played online game in the world if it's supposed to be boring?

No its was a post 1.03 glitch on a ranked server on FuShe Pass. Pi**es me off coz its ruined my stats and for some reason people think I cheat and i know I dont!!!! Any ides how to fix it??

Also sorry for flaming the thread starter about asking for thoughts on buying games. It was late and I lapsed into a**hole mode for a minute. Must be something about this forum that does it to me. Im a nice guy, really!

i just got HL2 and preorderd Socom FTB. Prolly get SF later and see what people think about it first. Also Lost Coast Rock!!

stay away from HL2. your PC is too slow and will cause the game to stutter like a retard in a short bus.

You computer is perfectlly fine man! You can get HF2 and play it with great video settings. Mine is slower then yours (both in CPU and GPU) and HF2 ran beautifully for me.

hmm...i've been thinking about cs:s too. I have the original CS and condition zero and was hoping i could upgrade to cs:source for free but apparently you can't.

BF2 is really getting old.
i was going to get fear or quake 4 but decided against it and got Fable instead. Kinda wish i didn't now. i love rpgs but this thing is way too linear and somewhat boring.

Your PC will run HL:2 fine. I had similar specs (actually lower than yours) several months ago and i was running everything on High and it was fine. I just can't stand waiting for Steam to connect and look for updates etc. before I play a freaking game.

HL:2 is simply amazing. The graphics are outstanding and the SP mode is great. CS:S is pretty cool. Alot of hackers though. So beware. Do what the above poster mentioned about getting a silver package. I did not do this and now I regret it because I want to play DOD:S and I can't now without making an upgrade :hmm:

Yes you need BF:2 to play SF. BF:2 is worth every bit of the purchase! SF will run you about $29.99 at your local GameStop. Or at least pretty close to that price. Haven't looked it up yet.

As far as the socom games.. not sure ... haven't looked into those yet. If those are the ones they are advertising for PS2.. they look kinda cheesy. Just my 2 cents.
