Running the pbweb.exe should do just that.


Are you sure that

a) you are running this in the right folder?

b) You have an admin account on this PC ?

Unfortunately, I don't think PBweb.exe will run unless there are already PB files there.

In your first post you said that the message was :

THIS PB SERVER REQIRES(A1360 C1.199)

but the latest version of PB is A1361 which is what you have downloaded. It sounds like the server you are connecting to has an older version of PB.

no i can play on ea uk 8 to 10 without it kicking me for this but affter 3 rounds the next map loads then it kickes me to server sreen with this error NETWORK DATA CORRUPTION ERROR.?

Do you happen to have something like Norton AV Auto-Protect running ? Or any other anti-virus/spyware ?

i have zone alarm and avast antivirus they are all ways running

Try turning them off. It says in the manual that you should turn off all firewalls and anti-virus while playing BF2. If you decide not to it's your choice but if it doesn't work properly then EA won't actually try to help you.

It's worth a try.

Just for interest, 'verifying client data' takes 22 seconds for me, how long does it take for you?

And where has Talus got to? :p
