No I said when I accidentally TK a teammate (which is the only way I ever TK a teammate) and they punish me for it then I write their name down (not every single time but sometimes when the game isnt moving to fast) and if they TK me later then I punish them. I said I havent punished anybody yet. I have probably been TKd by people on my list but didnt notice it though.

If you haven't punished anybody yet, there is a serious problem.
When did it change from -4 for a TK and another -4 for punish to always -4? Admins just start messing with some variable?
That's part of the point of this thread I think: it hasn't changed. It probably never was -4 and -4; that was just unverified rumor. There has been no definite answer on this issue since the game was released.
OK the negative points suck but what I really hate is getting booted for my friendly AT Mine TKs...Since these TKs 9 times out of 10 are not my fault... Hence the punish system sucks for this....the negative points do too...
But man nothing like being at the top of your game and then some asshat comes along with a transport full of friendlies and plows right into your mine...bam insta TK penalty KICK BAN...leaving you going WTF...followed by a tirade of epxlatives

I don't get kicked for TKing people with my mines as much as I get kicked for cursing at people who get TKed by my mines.
I wanted to put my 2 cents in about this since it comes up pretty often when I play BF2.
I will punish if the situation includes one of the following scenarios.
1. I am ran over at full speed, and the driver has 50 feet of more to dodge or
stop.
2. I am shot and killed and there aren't any enemies nearby that the friendly
could have been aiming for.
There are some other reasons, but those two are the ones I won't tolerate.
I do forgive. I have forgiven many people, simply because I get in the way sometimes or I'll mess up and get too close to an AT mine or claymore.
Its a game. A great game. Use the punish system as it was intended. If you screwed up, have the decency to forgive. If you are getting killed by a "teamkiller", well put in your "vote" to bring his score down and get him kicked.
I will say most people aren't intentionally trying to teamkill. Maybe they are new to the game and haven't grasped the objectives or how to play.
Well, it would be hard for someone like yourself to see any point

Im used to playing games MUCH more tactful, MUCH more skillful, and
MUCH MUCH MUCH less bug latent.
