I say **** them, I'm not buying anymore games off them. Poor customer service, poor forsight, poor testing and poor bug-fixing. Just wish they'd listen a bit more.
I have had many of there games and i have to agree with you. They have terrible coding and many bugs. However, none of them were nearly as bad as BF2.
It is a "catch 22", the game is released, it's the best game out, and has alot of potential, but its aggrevating at the same time. Because you can clearly see they didn't finish, and it makes you mad, but the game is sooooo much fun!

I was crazy for OFP, so much fan.BUT it was also bugged as hell(if you consider BF2 bugged that is), I mean who can forget those stupid cliping problems, and all those cheats man!
I do not know why people moan about BF2, BUT I can understand their frustration. It was the same with CS for me. I 'm really having the best time in the world with BF2, I cant play more than 2 hours per day so probably thats why, and I will buy the expansion,though not immediately, if only because I enjoy close combat more than airplane fighting. AA is too unwieldy and slow to be fun anymore to be honest, it had its time with me but was tired of the aiming system, breath in breath out, whatever.
and yeah, considering that its the best thing on offer at the moment, dunno, it seems like a good deal
In case EA has finally fixed the encryption problem preventing my son to play BF2 in his own XP account, my apologies and thanks to anyone who gives me a link to the solution, but not at all interested in sending more money to EA unless this is included. I would hate to give them the impression that they can patch their games and create such mischief to their customers.
Just be glad there is not a monthly fee for playing this game like there is for WoW or others. EA could have easily tried a stunt like that and ruined this whole series.
I for one will keep paying for expansions, just to keep them from trying to get a monthly fee out of me. I love the series and damn sure get my money out of them.
This is exactly how I feel. I will pay $80 for the game and expansion as long as they dont make me pay a fee to play it every month. I have had very problems with BF2 and have over 280hrs in. I think the game is the best fps ever...its got something for everyone.

No matter how cool SF turns out to be, no matter what game EA puts out after this date, I will never give EA another dime out of my pocket. If you look at my stats http://bf2s.com/player/CaptainPuffy/ I've only played 7 hours of online play....and now my BF2 will not install after a full format reinstall. So I've payed $50 for 7 hours of play...lets do the math on that, I've been paying $7 an hour for a game because EA/DICE couldn't code a half decent game.
I mean, I played starsiege tribes for 6 years for free...and then I bought the game for $10 just so Dynamix could have some money from me because the game was worth it.... I enjoyed every minute of the game. BF2 on the otherhand...
sounds to me that its you and your PC not the game. if the game worked fine before but doesn't after formatting your comp then thats USER ERROR. Learn how to trouble shoot PC's is my advice to you.
