The only way that the G36 can get voted the best unlock is because more people play specops than AT. It's a only minor upgrade while the DAO-12 changes the whole kit. The DAO-12 is the only unlock that might make someone play that kit that wouldn't otherwise.

I love the G36C. I play SpecOp a lot, but the main reason is because how accurate it is. Unless I'm up real close, I set it to semi-auto and can usually get a quick kill. I've still yet to try a lot of the other unlocks. I've only unlocked the: G36C, M95 and G3. So far, I like the G36 most.

ubar really gets it close to right. from their work, i was able to modify my weapon choices and such and it helped. my k/d ratio stinks but since i started paying attention to the physics of the weapons, the frag rate has went up each round.

but, i am getting better at tactics too...so the knowledge gain could be negligible.

G36C - the spec-ops unlock has been the most trusty for me. I prefer it over all the others.

then again, as i balance and play the other kits, i find that i get comfortable with all the unlocks as well...i'm hedging with this but bf2 is my first fps.

I sure wish they'd make ALL of the unlockable weapons available to ALL of the classes. It would make the game SO MUCH more enjoyable to EVERYONE!

I can only imagine how much ass I could kick with the G36C as a medic! I'm usually a Blackhawk pilot so it makes the most sense to fly as a medic, but when I don't get the pilot's seat (I don't spawn quickly or hog the choppers), it would be so sweet to have that bad boy when I hit the ground!

I'm sure the same would apply to YOUR favorite weapon and class too!

We'd ALL be happy CAMPERS (<-well some of you would, anyway )!

If we're deciding on the overall, best unlock then it has to be the DAO-12. It is, far and beyond, the most drastic upgrade from the default weapons, and it totally transforms the AT kit into more than just a guy with a rocket.

The G36C is good, but the degree to which is improves or expands on the default weaponry is minimal.

If I had to pick one unlock, in retrospect, it would be the DAO.
