I wish they had like B-52's in this game, I would unload a stick of bombs across the whole oman base, that would be sweet. Sure I would be kicked in about 3 nanoseconds but it would be well worth it.

No such thing as basecamping in BF, never was, isn't now, never will be.

I still don't get it, didn't get it 3 and half years ago, still don't get it now.
No attacking the enemy main until all the flags are taken. When the enemy no longer has a venue of escape (no other flags to spawn at) than you can spawncamp them at will and kill them repeatedly where they spawn with no chance of fighting back, and that's ok.

That is the most messed up rule I've ever heard of. It was a stupid rule back in October 2002 when it started and it still is today.
If you want to attack my uncappable main while I still have flags, go ahead fill your boots, and while you do that I'll cap all the other flags, thank you.

Also what is with this waiting your turn. If you start as a pilot, or armour, stick with it.
Waiting for your turn only encourages people to stand around the airfield.

If you don't get the jet first, so something useful and help your team.

finally someone who talks sense. I agree 100% and think all these rules are petty and take the fun out of the game. People need to stop worrying about whos turn it is in whatever vechile and whos attacking what flag and get on with what the game is all about........Having FUN!!!

The Lotus, you need to change your rules:

1. No Attacking UCB Without All Flags
2. No Cussing or Abbrivated Cussing
3. If Someone is waiting on a Plane, Heli, Tank, ECT. It is their turn.
4. Respect all players not just admins.

Number 1 I'd agree with, but no one does that anyway.
Number 2, is just retarded, well least most of my fav servers have no swear filters, because its lame.

Number 2Why is it lame? Because you like to hear people cirsing all the time? Well I don't. It's immature and rude.
My clan has a strong no language policy and our regulars appreciate that we do. Not everyone wants to hear people cursing all the time. People should be able to control their language in public because despite the fact that you're sitting behind your computer you are in a public forum just like you are here. If forums can have policies against language why can't a game server?

Number 3Why is it unrealistic to be courteous? Why do people have to be selfish and callous and 'steal' vehicle from people who have been waiting?
They have every right to be in the plane as anyone else.
What you should be concentrating on is your skill. I've seen many a game where people who were trying to get a plane (or shopper) in the beginning of a round give it up because they know the person flying it is good and will do more for the team then they will.

Number 4WHAT??!! Why is it unrealistic for people to be respectfully and civil to the people that play and run the server?

Don't come on my server with that mentality. Or if you do just play and keep quiet.

On topic (LOL)...I've never been to this server so I can't comment.
Our server tried to have "No bombing Uncaps rule, even pulled it back a bit to include "only with al flags. It still turned out to be uninforcable. So now it's all good.

heheh, sounds like dejavu.....i witnessed the same childish antics lastnight.....clearly its not isolated incedents that people encounter with their admins, there is definity a problem that the leadership is either unaware of or just doesnt give a rats asss about. after reading some of their responses to threads about them at bf2rankedservers.com id have to think they are perfectly aware of the situation and completly condone the abusivness that takes place

omg dont even start with this again, this guy is one of the most bipolar guy i have ever seen, this guy got ****ed because we wouldnt let him in our clan then he goes all off on our server breaking all the rules then we banned him, then we gave him one more chance, he goes and gets as much little things he could find even close to wrong and try to use it against us, goes on our forums and looks up as much as he could to incrimnate us then goes all off on bf2rankedservers.com and as u can see that didnt work because he was even more wrong then we were, if u look at that whole thread you will see at no point in time did our admins do anything wrong or unfair....

I could maybe belive you if he was the only person claiming to have seen abuse in your server but I see more than 1 person. Are these all the people derranged about not being allowed into your clan :cry:

Personally, I try to stay away from the mains..as much as possible. When all flags are cpped I prefer to go after anyone leaving, not straight attacking the main. One problem i hve with this "rule" goes as follows. Some servers with this rule take it too literal. I have been banned for chasing a jet that was after me. I mean come on, I'm not gonna let him run and rearm so he can get on my tail again. It has gotten to the point where admins will kick you for even flying in visual range of uncappable.....SAD!!!

But on the other hand I see the frustration!

Lotus, i dont know how your clan is set up as regards admins, but perhaps you need to take a look into who you let admin your server. I've seen complaints on other boards about not just over-zealous but abusive adminning as well. Being down under, i dont have to worry about playing on your server but just so you're aware, a large number of people are very unhappy with the way that your server is run. Ok, so you guys pay for it you can do with it as you like, BUT im just giving you a heads up mate.

hehehe, search button for the win!!!!! i dont have any screenies from my exsperience the oher night but i can assure you , it was a shocking display of the worst adminning i had ever been a witness to. there are ton of screenies of unjust kicks in this giant thread about them at bf2rankedservers.com

I bomb the sh** out of uncaps all day and always will. and You won't ever hear your teammates complaining because it prevents them from being decimated by enemy fighters/bombers.
