        Re: Commander radio flooding exploit

I am a commander w/ 45,000+ commander points, I hope my observations, & conclusions can be helpful on this topic

btw I have had only about 3 kick votes initiated, never got more than 2 votes

I spot all enemies except the 1's that are too far away to be killed by any 1, sometimes I will spam "enemy spotted" a few times when an enemy is threatening a base, & no 1 is responding

There is such a thing as "information overload"

I only spot ALL enemies on flying maps

I also zoom in, & out constantly, & watch, when troops have trouble locating an enemy I have spotted, I "pinpoint" spot him on zoom

I have learned from experience that most ppl (including myself) don't have time to look @ the minimap when we are under fire, which is the same reason why so many ppl run under arty when it is cleary indicated on the minimap

I believe ppl don't respond to "enemy spotted" becaause they may have to take their attention off what they are doing @ the moment, to even see if the "enemy spotted" even pertains to them

Maybe we should get an indication on our hud when you are the closest, or within a certain distance of an enemy that is spotted

However, when I do spot an enemy, & no 1 responds, & it is really important that he be intercepted, I "illuminate" the enemy w/ UAV, & ppl usually respond

There are 2 sides to this coin

Last night I was PLA commander on Wake, I spotted a US sniper before he touched land on the southern peninsula, I spotted him all the way as he WALKED to the South Base, & he cap'd the flag

I like to watch on zoom sometimes, & will tell a guy 10 times enemy spotted while he is being stalked from behind, & pinpoint spot the enemy on zoom, right up to the point where he "shanks" the guy LOL

I am more concerned w/ ppl NOT being spotted, than by some kid spamming once in a blue moon

        peace:)

          Re: Commander radio flooding exploit

I don't think it's bad when the commander is spotting a lot of enemies because he simply wants to help, but the wave-file which is beeing played when he does it should be more discrete and not this europhic "enemy spotted"..

Yes, and the "start fighting" clip is the one that plays when you enter ticket decline. The "losing men left and right" is when your actual ticket count starts getting low.

              Re: Commander radio flooding exploit

A commander was doing this to us in a round and after several failed mutiny votes (why, I have no idea) we all surrounded the commander and someone would knife him and then someone would revive him and then he would be knifed again.

This went on for a few minutes until he left the server.

              Good old fashioned mutiny.

I cant hear a thing cus of this screaming, if I could I would delete ALL commander voices, since you dont need them, cus you can see everything on your minimap...

                    wow

people are still defending this behavior as though he were actually spotting enemies....

its annoying when commanders spot every enemy, but that is hardly the case here.......if any enemies are being spotted, its surely by accident....the intention here is not to spot enemies, but disrupt gameplay...

please keep that in mind before you place the blame on the opriginal poster, or even attempt to defend or justify this behavior

I've heard the start fighting clip at the begining of a round while being AFK. It doesn't matter who is winning or losing. It appears to be triggered when you do not fire a shot for a long time.
