I really hate the "start fighting or ill find someone who can" voice from the commander. It's absolutly retarded when you are sniping. Of course the commander is gonna whine when you have to stay prone for mins at a time while sniping! Most of the time when the commander chimes in I AM FIGHTING!! This effect needs to be removed asap.

This is not a commander controlled soundbit. It's like the "we're losing control of an outpost" It just happens when certain events trigger it. But the commander can say that your squad is bad or follow orders or whatnot.

i think if they did administer some sort of volume control for the radio chatter, it should not effect the actual sounds/voices that come from the actual player, like "i need a medic".....that only occurs when you are in close proximity, and i dont think it is handled as radio-chatter, or at least shouldnt be

Only happened to me once, thank god, and it was horrible.

The commander was "Roger", "Negative"-ing the whole round. Vote kicks didn't work (of course, they never do), so it was only ended when he was fortunately kicked by an admin.

DICE please fix this in 1.3, c'mon.

there was a high ranking douche tard doing this all the time, every round non-stop...i forget its name....but ppl were mad...

I think that is not the commander, but rather a hard coded voice spam tied to the remaining number of tickets. I think tickets has to be less on your team and your opponets are winning for that voice to be triggered.

Such hard coded voice messages are unnecessary and threatens to distract the losing team (Who already knows damn well they are losing) from the game itself.

If the commander chooses to rebuke a squad it will start something like this:

"MY Grandmother can do ...."

I can personally say, I have NEVER seen a MyG0t EVER help a team in anyway whatsoever, except by leaving the game.

I do hate it when commander's spam, just for the sake of spamming, or spot every-damn-soldier.

A couple of times I have seen a fully functional squad I was a member of completely destroyed by consatant stream of "You are the worst squad I have ever seen." Spamming is worse than tking in my opinion.

I know it's not an effect that the commander can actually say himself. I was just pointing out that it's the commanders voice. Very annoying nonetheless. I don't need the commander to tell me I'm sniping/getting my ass kicked/generally camping.

What is wrong with you people? Okay, if he's spamming "Affirmative" then yeah, it's pointless, but if he's spotting stuff, he's doing your team a favor by locating isolated troops you otherwise wouldn't see without a UAV. In other words, he's doing his job. If you would rather be jumped and dead than endure "enemy infantry spotted, enemy infantry spotted, enemy sniper spotted" then by all means, push the Mutiny button and pray it makes your commander have a heart attack or something.

Oh, and if it's a myg0t, no point in complaining about it, if you tried to patch everything so that myg0t couldn't grief with it, you wouldn't even have a game any more.

It doesn't tell you that when you're losing, it tells you that when you enter ticket bleed from the enemy having too many points.

i spam at the beginning of rounds where nothing is happening..and everyone else does it to so its allgood,,,but when we're in the middle ofa battle..theres nothing more annoying than that stupid commander not doing his job

Everything after this sentence in your post is pointless. What you just said is exactly what this thread is about. Commanders can spam any message with this exploit so spotting can be transformed from something useful to something frustrating.No one in here is saying anything at all about legit commanders spotting things. You just went waaaaay off topic and added nothing at all to the discussion.

Commanders that flood the radio with messages for an entire round straight with no delay whatsoever in order to ruin your game are what is being discussed here. Read the whole thread. A four word thread title is not going to give you enough information to discuss anything. I'm not complaining about myg0ts specifically; the whole point of this thread is about flooding the radio constantly in order to annoy your team and perhaps empty the server!

About the ticket thing: I meant the sample where the commander says "start fighting or i'll find someone who can", not the one that goes "we're losing men left and right". This sound often plays when you are sniping/camping/actually fighting/or driving transport vehicles which means it is useless, buggy, and annoying.
