Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Requiring landing wouldn't help. Pilots like PW can ace everything in the game, except for tanks, with the cannons.
Well, i am not sure if u refering to me, ut hey, i can land, i land all the time even if my jet has half bar of health, the only thing i hate is that if i on the deck of carrier it wont repair me. sometimes i even steal enemy jets and land them on my carrier so others can use them snce i dont always wanna fly
no. what needs to be done is for jets to be totally removed from the game.
and be replaced w/ orbital satellites.
orbital satellites that can be used by players by entering the specific underground bunker for each satellite. when a players gets into the the bunker, it ceases to exist in this dimension to protect the inhabitant from harm.
the number of satellites/bunkers should be 2 for each side on all maps of all sizes and once filled all other vehicles on the map would become immobile to stop the satellite owners targets from being too hard to hit. the satellites cannot be shot down. the weapons on the satellite would be some kind of death ray or death beam w/ enough power to sink the essex. also all kills would give triple points, quadruple if the ppl killed are on the same team as the killer.
if that was the case, they would need to fix the runways so that you could taxi easily. the way they are now, it's nearly impossible to turn around and take off again.
also, if you landed, you would be prime bait for another airborne jet. they would just gun you down as you rearmed. the only way that this could be prevented is if the fixed AA sites would be more accurate so they could protect the jets that are rearming.
Good idea-it would balance the gameplay more by making less bombing runs, and making aircraft killing easier. Only problem is some noob would tk you with a rocket or something coming down the runway.
A pilot just had the guts and maturity to use the word "complaints" instead of whining AND admit that they thought it was a flaw in the gameplay that they got a 50-0 ratio everytime they flew (seriously, though, anytime you see someone with a higher K/D ratio then check to see if their favorite vehicle is some form of airpower, these pilots aren't exaggerating). Congratulations dude! You deserve a metal or something! Anyway, I think it should be that any airpower can't REPAIR without landing. This way heli and jet pilots can't go to your base, get hit by an AT/AA missle/a volley of bullets, then go to repair, come back, and repeat. This would mostly make a different with helis though, because with all my +13,000 kills, I have only killed one jet with anything other than an AA missle. Gah, sorry, kind of drifted off topic. It's just that I don't like helis either:p
Or they just improve the AA, the times my perfectly aimed stinger missiles makes a 180 turn and fly straight for an innocent team mate on the other side of the map is countless.
Landing planes would make them useless, there is always a chopper taking off or maybe another plane spawning, not to mention ur team mates doing the samba on the runway...
My question is have you guys ever taken the consideration how difficult it is to turn the aircraft around to take off? I don't mind landing at all, it's just trying to turn around on a one-way runway that renders landing useless.
Then there's the problem of being vulnerable by enemy aircrafts. Even those who don't fly much will sure to address this problem.
I believe the better solution is remaking the AA weapons. Simply improving or upgrading it is not enough because helicopters get hit hard the most than aircrafts with the Stingers and SA-7.
Either that or reducing the number of bombs released by bombers down to 3 with 2 salvos.
