I was a total Special forces freak until the patch came out and I got to change what unlocks I got, now I play Support and Assault more, even though I never used to play them...Comment

Yeah, C4 is just stupid...I'm starting to think of 'Special Forces' members as pretty much like 'Special Olympics' players.
Why can I blow up AT mines with grenades, but not C4? Retarded.
Why isn't the AT kit best against tanks? C4 is vastly superior, you can take out a tank 20 feet away with it...you can even toss C4 that far. You can put C4 behind a wall, and STILL blow up tanks on the other side with it, so a tanker doesn't even get to SEE what killed him.
You can also just put C4 on your own tank, and then ram the enemy tank or anything else...a guaranteed kill, every single time, and you'll respawn on top of the tank, to do it agan.
Retarded, simply retarded. It took me all of 10 minutes to get my basic explosives badge with C4.

When I first started playing BF2, I chose the special forces kit because I thought it was cool. There's something very seductive about running around the battle field and being special. I think there's something about all those Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger (to name but a few) action movies where special forces kick butt and don't care about taking names. Tanks - Every other kit should start saying their prayers when they see a tank heading their way (except maybe.. MAYBE AT). Spec ops? No worries! Just lay a few C4 down. BOOM ****ER!
Accuracy - Let's face it.. the G36C is, just a fully-automatic sniper rifle. That thing is accurate as hell! It snipes snipers.. you know something is wrong when..
C4 in general - Everybody likes blowing things up right?
Even though usually, half of my team usually spawn as a Spec Ops, it's still my favourite kit! I'm usually the only one who goes over to the enemy's base to keep their assets down. Points schmoints!
And yes, yes.. I know they're special forces.. but let's just call 'em spec ops for now.
There's also something very sexy about having a scoped simi-automatic weapon and running around setting n00bie traps with powerful explosives. Without experience with other kits, it's very difficult to resist the allure of the special forces options.Comment

I just love playing as Spec Ops because you feel like you're doing the dirty work of the war, sneaking around blowing stuff up, laying C4 traps and killing people quietly. There's just something about that stuff that I love, I guess because I know there are guys doing it in real life all day every day, somewhere in the world.Comment

AT kit is the only way to go for me.. I take down tanks far more
often than they get me..I sometimes even wait until they are in the
flag zone so that I get Flag Defend points as well..
The only regret I have with the AT kit is that you only get so many

Oh, I don't have a problem with AT guys taking out tanks...it's what they're supposed to do. Ok,I get ticked when 3 AT guys hammer my tank in the space of 5 seconds, but this sure seems to be 'working as intended' (oh god, I sure wish there was an anti-air kit that worked like that).
On the other hand, when I'm heading up to a flag, and I SEE the c4 on the ground, and can't do a thing about it, and then when I back up, he blows up the C4, 10 or more feet away from me, and my tank is now in the red...that's just ridiculous.

Amen. AT is a fun kit because it takes (well me at least) a long time to master. You're forced to learn lots of tricks because your opponent is deadly and your weapon is weak. Its basically Big Game hunting only with rockets... and tanks. As for Spec Ops - I don't see more of them than any other class really. I'd bet most veterans switch up their class as the situation warrants anyways, that includes snatching up fallen enemy kits if need be.Originally posted by SpeedyGonzalesComment

if the tanker aint a noob one AT does have a hard time taking out the tank if there are 2 ATs its way easier, i think AT boys should stick togetherComment
