    Nope I had 2002 full version...and apparently it was good till 2014...anyway...I'm stuck with the 2006..for now.

    thanks for the help. I'll put avast on the home comp.

        I have been using Norton System Works (with Anti Virus) for many years and it has always kept my system up and running and virus free. It does run alot of background processes though and while flying jets in BF2 I do sometimes get some choppy lag that could only be processor related since my ping is usually below 40 when I notice it.

        If It really becomes a problem I have a second coppy of BF2 on a seperate old 15GB disk in my computer running a second coppy of WinXP with nothing else installed and all unnecessary services terminated. I use Acronis OSselector to jump over to this OS to play BF2.
