weird error

hey im new i just introduced myself into the welcome forum. So any way i have this big problem with my computer. On my old system i got to a black screen and crashed , proberly needed a better graphics card. But on my new system i get this error here is some images

Id realy apreciate any help and advice please guys. I have windows xp with service pack 2 and i think i have proffesional or home edition installed.

yes i believe i have the latist drivers for the game. However if i click install drivers via battlefield 2 installer it says that there are newer drivers installed on the computer so i dont know what to do.

can any 1 help me lol ive disabled all firewalls and re installed it and still it doesnt work ... ive got latist drivers still didnt work ive tried with older drivers still didnt work .....

Try cleaning out all of your gfx card drivers, this way:

1) uninstall ALL gfx drivers and any if old gfx card was ATI, then unistall those drivers too and ATI Control Panels or similar from Add/Remove Control Panel in Windows.

2) Reboot and boot into Safe Mode, F8 just before Windows boot.

3) Click cancel to any plug&play hardware wizards that informs you of new hardware.

4) Use http://drivercleaner.net and remove relevant ATI files.

5) Reboot and start Windows normally, again cancel to any plug&play hardware wizards that informs you of new hardware.

6) Install drivers of choice, with its installer. Reboot.

Then you only have one driver set installed and only one to cause problems. I do this everytime I install video drivers.

Make sure BF2 starts up with default settings by navigating to ...\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\ and delete folders in there.

If you want to keep your settings then move the folders instead, but IMO just delete them, and use the Retrieve option in Manage Accounts to get your login back.

i dont see the point in actualy re installing all the drivers and so forth if its tutch and go man ... ive uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times i dont think thats the problem .. but i dont know lol

If you don't want to give it a shot then it is up to you. Having several different drivers is often cause of problems. Just uninstalling won't remove them totally.

How about chipset drivers are they installed?

Have you checked dxdiag.exe and seen if acceleration for video directX and directdraw etc are enabled, I think it is in the Displays tab of dxdiag.exe.

How about deleting the folders in the profiles folders, as explained above too, have you tried that???

i just had spoken to some 1on msn and he had said that i wasnt supposed to run 32 bit windows on my 64bit windows. Do you guys believe this is true ?
