You realize that when you, as a commander, participate in the battle, you will ultimately lose points for that right?

I've posted this before, and i post it again. You unofficially DO get credit for arty kills as commander in 1.03. They do not show up on your score, but i've gotten 3 veteran combat badges(20 kills per kit) just playing commander.

If your team wins ONLY your commander score is doubled. Also, any repair/supply/heal you accrue during the round will show up as 0 during the match.

You do get credit for the kills in your stats - but not on the game final score tally window.

If you are going for badges that require kills - you can still get them with arty - they just do not show up any longer so you can keep track of them.

They still count, and go into k/d ratio, etc - they just do not show in game score screen.

I think you do, but not in game.
since going as commander my k/d ratio has shot up to about 1.75 from 1.5

Possibily tracks it, but in game as far as final score goes it doesn't register. My best score as commander was 174 pre x2 on Wake, incredible team, kept them supplied and informed and they whipped butt, but my kills were registered as 0 even though I killed at least two people per arty strike and several trying to get my assets, so I believe they count towards global score and K/D, but not actual kills in the scoreboard.
