I apriciate the reply but how can you say AA is fine when about every pilot with some experience can rack up 70 points with about 5 deaths, if AA was balanced, IMO, scores would be more level, and they would die alot more.

And, then there is the TK issue.

BULL....I don't buy it. Who buys BF2, jumps in the J10 and stays in the J10 for months on end. Where's the learning curve? I smell a rat. IF I'M wrong. Hats off. But I think somethings up. Either way. Who cares I guess.

That's .302 extra score per minute from start to finish, not all that impressive. That's like 1\6th of a kill extra in all that time.

I agree with your AA view. In the hands of skilled people who seem to know when to fire they are pretty dangerous to pilots, especially the essex and linebackers.

Are there any servers you play on specifically so i can find you easier than using bf2s.com? I definitely want to go up against you asap.

the AA is actually quite effective as planewhore said...its simply people usually let rip the second they see a heli or plane...when in fact you have to wait for a certain time to fire...either when they are flying away from u, are stationary (helis only) or in some cases head on...

if u just fire at them randomly ull be lucky to get one hit...

Props to you Planewhore, i've pubbed with you once or twice and you're an amazing pilot. Don't listen to half the noobs on here, they just talk crap. Besides, most of them don't understand the whole concept of having amazing plane pilots, since I'm assuming they aren't in competitive clans.

Of course planewhores is going to talk up the AA, to make himself sound more skillful, the AA is ****, even the essex is unable to kill a turning plane, and planewhore wants to talk himself up. Although I give him props on not being some egotistical smacktard.

Of course the alternative explanation, Nodhere, is that it doesn't actually take that much skill to be good at a plane in BF2. Almost all the learning is in the first couple hours.

I've fought against Planewhore once, mostly being shot up repeatedly on the carrier in Dalian Plant as I attempted to get in some flight time myself, and then as I attempted to get him with the carrier guns. And I do mean repeatedly, it's all he was doing all round. It's a very good way to prevent anyone from actually challenging him in the air, and it's extremely boring. Might have done better with the carrier guns if I'd set the visibility range to 100%... well, it's there now.

Planewhore, I won't begrudge you your playstyle, although I know I'd get bored of it.

Any weapon in this game can be very deadly if used the right way, so is the AA. Unfortuntely the chance of people good at AA is far far less than being good at noob tube, so AA becomes useless / death trap.

To those who think kiling infantry is somehow a "hack", do remember, the deck of the carrier isnt exactly a very good camafloge, espically when 5 people are standing right at the heli-pad just waiting to get bombed / shot.

The J10 is way too overpowered, its not invincible and 2 good jsf pilot can take it down eventually, but that requires some very good team work and planing.

The joystick is NOT a must, keyboard + mouse can do very well as long as you know what you are doing. The difference only shows when two pilots have the same skill, in which the joystick will shows its advantage. I have only met 1 pilot so far that can shoot me down 2 times in a roll - not by luck, it is also that day I changed my yaw/pitch to max, and havent been killed normally since.

Guys that is his skill growth within the past TWENTY DAYS ONLY. so yes the change is small, but the time period is also very small. The game has been out for about half a year (ten times this period!). He also probably made this account after learning how to kick @$$ with the jets.

Personally I appreciate your skill PlaneWhore and I am impressed with they way you setup your mouse/joystick.

I hate to go against you as I am an infantry most of the time.I will be definitly pi$$ed off to play against you. But wait! once those air-only maps are released (I am sure something will come out!) then you will find me TRYING to kick your @$$!! I hate to stay in line right now to try to get a jet. The last thing I want to do is to wait on the runway for a jet to spawn.

Nice skill PlaneWhore! I definitly appreciate your skill like many of the guys here.

I used to post on PlanetBattlefield forums but the guys there are very hostile and they do not have a bit of respect even for themselves.... so I left that forum forever!

I think you are a good pilot my friend. I feel im very good myself, and look forward to meeting you sometime soon in the air. People will call you cheap, hacker, etc but that comes with the territory of being a good pilot. I love flying as well, I just usually dont LIKE to fly the j10 cuz of its superiority as a jet. I like to face people with Mig vs f35 or F18 vs Mig cuz i feel thats a much more balanced fight.

Colony....I don't begrudge you that you have vastly improved from the first and last times we flew against each other....you weren't easy to shootdown at first, and certainly you got me 3 times in a row on Clean Sweep when I was in the F15....And actually I don't even consider myself an excellent pilot in this game, my ranking and scores are from playing the hell out of the game for too many hours (only one other guy has more time in planes than I do)....The only problem I may develop with either you or PlaneWhore is the seemingly total lack of humility. I don't mind getting bested by better pilots...happens all the time...sometimes I find pilots without great scores that are hard as hell to shake off...and some pilots without great aviator rankings make me look like an amatuer with what I've seen them do with these planes....Nonetheless, what's always important to me is whether the guy has some humility or not....I play and admin on a server where there are excellent pilots, and I enjoy playing with and against them because they are not braggards and do not flame on people in the team chat....When I run across a player, whether he be a pilot or not, and whether he be a "good" pilot or not, but he demonstrates that he has the horrible personality to berate and flame on his competitors, I will not enjoy playing with or against him, and will most likely leave the server, even if I was doing well against him....

Like I said, I don't necessarily consider myself a "really" good pilot in this game, despite my high ranking, and I appreciate if some other pilots do consider me a good pilot and worthy competition in the air, but I never flaunt it or berate or flame other players....The last time we met, even before I ever got in a plane, you were shooting down the poor fellow who was beating me to it and each time telling him he "sucked" and once you even implored him to "let Bayblaze fly, at least he's good..you're not"....I thought berating him like that was really unbecoming, and I even purposely let him have the plane a few more times because I was considering just leaving the server rather than play there....I ended up staying, and admittedly died in the hanger a few times while you raped it and each of the 3 times I got the injured F15 up, I was unable to shake you and you finished me off....good for you, but even then you constantly tried to berate me as well.....My point is, it doesn't make for a player wanting to enjoy playing with or against you.

I was a Captain in the Army, and an AH-1S Cobra pilot for 6 years in the AirCav, so I know what is and what is not conduct that is appropriate for a "warrior" with "honor"....and humility is a big part of it....I just wish some players would find a bit more of it.
