139 hours played, 324 deaths in plane?? BS. You would crash more times than that, just by accident.

I crashed no more then 3 times after ~75 hours in the jets.

I'm almost certian he is not cheating. I'm sure he is a good pilot. What differs him from others is his whoring - he must be spwan camping like hell. Someone here wrote he helped him spwan camp the carrier with the J10. Not to mention his in-game name...

The fella's specialty is jets and he's obviously damn good. Don't accuse him of cheating, it just makes the accuser look silly. My copilot and I where kicking arse in an F15 on Daqing Oilfields yesterday and somebody accused me of cheating... Oh how we laughed... It's a sure sign you're doing well when the grunts start complaining.
However, like Tyrus, it seems his win/loss ratio is out of whack, so he probably spends most of his time raping the carrier deck racking up easy kills, instead of providing tactial air support to the ground troops.

I think my IQ just dropped 100 points from readin that PB thread. I still cant believe I read the whole thing. If anyone ever sees me signing up for an account over there just slap me.

As far as I could see, Planewhore looked like an elitist ***hat. The only posts that I actually considered decent was the one done by birdkiller (is there a forum you dont post on?) and Firebird (note the bird theme). As for the whole whore thing, if you are good at something your are a/an *insert skill*whore. plain and simple, or at least thats the general theme for the game. Not a fan of planes because I suck at flying (cant even stay in the air long enough to do a bombing run) and they are great at killing me. Thus, I hate them.

Heh, only on Gamefaqs and TotalBF2 ^_^. I agree that almost any weapons could have "whore" after its name when one user is good at it. I hope to face those guys in the air (Planewhore and Hotdog) yet if I did, you would see me running like a coward toward the edge of the sky.

a lot of guys hate him in the other BF2 forum 'cos they think he's cocky and a stat padder. i think they're just a li'l jealous 'cos the guy has like 27000 kills with less than 600 deaths!

definitely one of the best pilots in the game, no question about it...

Planes are stupidly easy to rack up a score with, and more you use them, the higher you score will become.

Guide to avoiding being shot down.

1) When you get locked on, turn your plane in a circle, left or right depending on preference.

2) If you get locked on, deploy flares.

3) If you know where the shots are coming from, after you drop flares extend from the thread.

That's it. It takes 1 move (a left or right hand turn), to avoid a missile.

Once you have that down, all that's left is the dubious skill of learning to bomb enemy flags, or occasionally spawn rape strafing the enemy airfield.

Its simple, aviator pilots should score similar to how commanders score.
Teamkills would be allowed with no point loss, but carpet bombing kills wont count towards the point tally. Destroying enemy assests would also be rewarded.
Just give them a team average for the percentage of the game they fly.

Also it has been mentioned (although i am not accusing this particular pilot) that many pilots using the cannon for most/majority of their kills (which is uncheckable in stats)are using a name tag hack.

How the hell can some of these pilots PINPOINT (uva does not pinpoint) a sniper hid in scrub and cannon him from distance without a name tag hack ?....I'll never know.

Take the cannons off the planes until the name tag hacks are detected by pb.

His stats look freakily unreal.

Long time reader, first time poster. These forums just don't have the level of hostility I've come enjoy on the Planet Battlefield forums.

Sorry to disappoint some of you, but I don't cheat, I'm just an accomplished pilot. I've got a knack for avoiding death too (as some have pointed out), as almost all my deaths are the result of one of four things, a mid-air collision with another pilot, which I never see coming because it's always them broad siding me. Or getting kicked/banned off a server while in the air, which sadly/surprisingly registers as a death, and is usually a result of a server admin suspecting me of cheating or disliking my combat strategies (kicks/bans account for a disturbing 57 total deaths while flying). Or of crashing to desktop out of BF2 and as a result crashing while I'm not at the wheel, and last thing that'll kill me is those pesky teammates killing me during take off, either because they want my plane, or they're a part of what I lovingly refer to as my fanclub (or a group of players, who probably originated off the PBF forums who follow me from server to server and try and disrupt my enjoyment). That isn't to say air-to-air missiles don't hit me (with the exception of the J-10) those little bastards hit me all the time, but rarely do I get two back to back quick enough to kill me. Good pilots have shot me down, though never in a J-10, but as my statistics show I've spent the majority of my time in the U.S. airplanes, which are the worst.

I fly the jet fighters only, no bombers, as I find the jet fighters are much more challenging to use, and enable me to participate in air to air combat more effectively. And no, I don't just "rape bases" as some have suggested. That's not to say I don't do it, because I will base rape if I've run out of other suitable targets. I care first and foremost about our team winning the game. I destroy almost exclusively helicopters, other airplanes, and all types of ground-based vehicles. If I run out of those kind of targets then I'll bomb bases or whatever else is available. And yes, as a previous poster suggested I've developed quite the internal spawn timer in regards to enemy vehicles. On my loop of the battlefield when the time is right I'll swing back around to the enemy helipad or runway and destroy those vehicles while they're still on the ground, as in this state they're much more vulnerable. Is it cheap? Maybe. Is it effective? Extremely. You know what they say though, all is fair in love and war.

I'd love to post a full recording of my methods (for nonbelievers, and beginner pilots looking for some guidance), but through all my games and countless servers I've yet to have any BF2 BattleRecorder files available to download. A couple have been listed but failed to download. So if you know of a good 64 player server I can join with air maps that will provide me with a BF2 recording of the game I'd be more than happy to post it for scrutiny. Fraps won't work because not only will it effect my performance, but my hard drive is inadequate for a file of that size.

I don't necessarily think I'm the best pilot in BF2, even though I'd like to think so, but I've yet to meet my match in air to air combat, or in overall effectiveness at suppressing the enemies air and ground targets. Yes, that's half a challenge half a brag.

The guy is a good pilot. I've seen him in servers. My aviator stats aren't too far off (17,739 kills - 650 deaths as you can see http://bf2s.com/player/Baseline/),And it's not hard to get that kind of kill streak. You just need the right conditions and being in the bomber the whole round usually helps, but it's easily accomplishable in a fighter if you wanna strafe the enemy runway all day. There's probably going to be 3 or 4 kills there per pass if you're on a 64 man server.

Good pilots don't die, they just constantly turn for a half-hour when they run into other good pilots. Or go to the ceiling and spin out because they're bored. The majority of my aviator deaths have come from situations where I'm dogfighting over friendly territory or whatever and friendly missiles/AA hits me. It's lame, but you have about 1 second to react when that missile misses it's original target and starts beeping at you, sometimes not even that much time. I'd guarantee that more than half of you calling him a loser or whatever wouldn't even have thought twice to use your flyby/chase cameras to figure out that there is someone using his guns on you in bombing mode.

Give the guy some props. I do.
