I would've, but my motherboard is 8X AGP and the 6800GT was the best I could get without replacing my motherboard to a PCI-E one (especially since I would've replaced my processor too $$$$).

Get a 6200 and you can unlock/reflash to 6600. But that is if you are lucky and get the right chipset.

Those resolutions are pretty rediculous. I've never found a reason to go above 800x600 in any game.

Errr...I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB (not over clocked) and run the game at "High" settings with no problems at all. I usually average around 50-60 fps in game.

In the case of other people that have problems with the game crashing, I seriously doubt it's due to their video card.


Having said that, I build my system a year and a little over a year and a half ago. I would also say that if I were building a system today I would go with a PCI express card for sure, but only because I know I would be able to use it for awhile.
